Get Your Hair to Grow Faster

It can be a disastrous experience if you get the wrong haircut for you. In the event that you need your locks to grow out more quickly, it is possible to do a few things to accomplish this. Your hair will be longer before you know it if you follow these pointers.

Step 1: Be aware of what is good and bad about your hair. Because we each have unique kinds of hair, it is necessary to evaluate your own prior to starting any kind of remedy. Dry or oily; how's your hair? Are the ends split or breaking? For the best results, check your hair after it has been freshly washed and completely dried. Step 2: Stop the product and styling torture. Whenever you use a blow dryer or dye or give yourself a permanent, you harm your hair. If you use something to dry your hair, it will look worse. Step 3: Don't wash your hair every day. If you wash your hair every day or more, you can damage your hair. When you wash your hair too often it makes your locks more liable to break and split. Your hair will have a hard time growing long and strong if it is weak or dry.

Step 4: Avoid junk food, and eat only quality, unprocessed foods. An early sign of not eating healthy is lifeless, dull hair. For those who find their locks grow sluggishly and lack luster, it may be because of their diet. Eat a complete diet with protein, carbs and a variety of green veggies. Make sure you don't have any sugar or very greasy foods that are filled with fat.

Step 5: Warm it up. The condition of your tresses will improve with consistent applications of hot oil as well as a bit of sunlight. Apply some heat for a minimal period each day for scalp stimulation and to promote growing hair.

Step 6: After that, cool off. If you like it really hot in the shower, that's not going to be good for your hair. When the hair is wet, it can be a lot easier to damage because it is in a weakened state. Once you finish showering, rinse out your locks with slightly cold water to bring out the luster and help it grow.

Step 7: Use conditioner correctly. While conditioner is good for your hair, you shouldn't over do the amount that you use. Use the right conditioner for the type of hair you have and don't purchase a conditioner only when it is on sale. Apply conditioner to your hair in the shower and let it sit for at least 30 seconds. If possible, using a wide-toothed comb, lightly comb the conditioner all through your locks. You're not going to want to get tangles in your hair, because this will cause damage to your hair.

Step 8: Get your hair trimmed and shaped on a regular basis. A really good way to promote hair growth is to remove split ends and damaged areas so trim your hair regularly. If your hair is in the stage of growing out from an older style, it's often hard to resist surrendering to the impulse to simply cut it. Never do this. Get your hair stylist to shape up the ends. Lessening the weight on your hair will help it grow.

Patience is needed with this. Even if hair is healthy it doesn't always grow that quickly. But keeping the hair healthy and maintained allows it to grow quicker.

Serious side effects of consuming such high levels of this chemical is known to cause hepatitis and canthaxanthin retinopathy, a condition in which yellow deposits form in the retina of the eye, as well as damage to the digestive system and skin.

Bronzers are another form of self-tanning products that are much safer than tanning pills. They come in powders, gels, or moisturizers and work much the same as make up. It temporarily stains the skin with color and like make up; it will come off after a shower. Bronzers will work for one day applications. Some have limited sweat or water resistance, and can rub-off to lightly color tight clothing.

Preparation

* Beat the egg

Do not worry, aloe is good for your skin and will not harm you, as long as you are not allergic.

After about two minutes pass, go ahead and put one hand in your mouth. Go ahead. So, what do you think? Did you like it? Would you like to do it again? Ok, so now you are thinking "NO, that is the most God awful thing I have ever tasted in my life". Ahh, that was and is the point. Do this several times each day. Trust me this works.

Facial Exercises - How to Have a Mobile Face

A mobile face is an important goal for a photographic model. It is an absolute necessity for the projection of emotions. It is your means of communicating feeling to the viewer, for only by reading the signs of emotion upon your face can he get your message. Facial exercises are a must for any model.

Whether the action of the face is pronounced or subdued, control of all muscles must be maintained. A model, like an actress, must know what her face looks like at all times. She should be so familiar with it that she can visualize every change in expression accurately without having to look in the mirror.

Before practicing expression, see if you can move your face - feature by feature.

Eyebrows may be moved together and downward, together and upward. When you find that you have no apparent control, use a fingertip to move them into place until the muscle can take on its duties alone. Move them up and down. Try to lift one while dropping the other. If one doesn't work ... try the other. (Raising one brow is excellent for a quizzical or tongue-in-cheek expression.)

Eyelids prove quite interesting when you experiment with them. Think of them as shades that can be pulled up or down over the eyes. Close them and try to open them very slowly, stopping with each infinitesimal movement. Close them the same way. Can you raise your upper lid so that it no longer touches the top of the pupil of the eye?

Try it by parting the lids as wide as possible in surprise or by raising your chin slightly while looking down and at the same time lifting the upper lids as high as possible. Can you lower your upper lid until it covers the iris in your pupil without moving the lower lid? (This provocative movement should not be confused with the squint which raises the lower lid to get the same spacing - but not the same effect.)

Pupils of the eyes should not be confined to any one position. Are yours? Practice looking at the rim of a huge clock very close to your face. With your face to the front (do not move your head) stop your eyes momentarily at each of the twelve numbers. Focus your eyes on the distance and see if you can get the same degree of movement.

Turn your face to a full-face view in your mirror and practice rotating the pupils of your eyes to the numbers on the same clock. Now try the exercise in profile. Note how you can use only about half of the numbers if you keep the pupil in view of the camera.

Mouth flexibility, though easy, must be channeled in the right direction. Mumblers will find these exercises more difficult than the enunciators for they have become lip-lazy. A good facial exercise to get those muscles working (and this will improve your speech too) is to:

Hold a cork the size of a quarter, between your teeth and enunciate these vowels out loud: A-E-I-O-U-and repeat them 3 times distinctly. Next, open your mouth to accommodate three of your fingers (one over the other) between your teeth and enunciate the vowels Ah-Aw, Ah-Aw, Ah-Aw, Ah-Aw. With one finger: ee-oo, ee-oo, ee-oo.

Can you make the corners of your mouth go down in a sneer or a pout? Can you make them go up in happiness?

Before you start assembling the movements of these separate parts into actual facial expressions take a few minutes to arrange two mirrors in a special book-fashion. If you will open it about 75 degrees at the hinge and put your head up close, you will learn much about the action of your face ... especially in profile views which you would otherwise never have an opportunity to see.

When you bring the various parts of your face to bear upon a single expression you must consider your feelings and emotions. Consider the four basic emotions fear, sorrow, anger and happiness. Think of the thoughts and situations that go into creating those emotions.

How to Wash Hair

I was surprised to learn that many people (including some of my clients) don't know how to wash hair correctly. I've decided to put together this guide to give you a very good understanding of how to do this correctly and get effective results.

First, adjust your water temperature until you find the setting that is the most comfortable for you. Rinse running water on the hair and scalp while being sure to lift the hair off of the scalp to have the water come into contact with as much of the scalp as possible. This rinse should last anywhere from 30 seconds to about a minute.

What this initial rinse does is help get the hair free of dirt, and debris.

Next, you want to apply anywhere from a dime size to about a quarter size amount of shampoo to the hair and scalp. Take the tips of your fingers (not the very top of the fingers but that half way point between where the top of the finger lies and that first straight line, where you can bend your finger) and begin massaging and gently scrubbing the scalp until you get a decent lather.

What's important to note here is that you want focus on those hard to reach areas, like the crown, towards the back and the back of the head as well. These areas usually 'itch' the most and feel SO good when you scratch them.

Next, rinse the shampoo out, while lifting the hair, until the shampoo is all gone. One way to make sure is by checking the water that is running down the drain. Once it runs clear of bubbles then the hair and scalp should be free of shampoo.

Next, apply a smaller amount of shampoo to the hair. If you applied a quarter size the first go round, a dime size should do this time.

Again, while taking the tips of your fingers, begin massaging (and gently scrubbing) the scalp. This time you'll notice you'll get a much better lather.

I have to admit that I never understood why it lathers up so much better using less shampoo, the second go round, then it does using more the first!

Once again, rinse the head out completely.

This next step is very important for getting great results for your hair's outcome.

Towel blot the hair. This means take a towel and remove all the access water, without completely drying the hair, and WITHOUT pulling and tugging your hair. You are going to blot the hair with a towel.

Next apply conditioner. Now I know people don't like to read, but trust me on this one, it's important to follow the instructions as to how long you should leave the product on your hair.
Once you have left it on the appropriate amount of time, rinse it out. If it's a leave in...well that's kinda self explanatory!

Then depending upon what style you plan on rolling with, you would apply the necessary products until you have your finished outcome.

But there you have it the basics for washing hair 101. Follow these instructions with quality products, and in no time, I promise you quality results. Keep in mind that all of this is null and void if you are not using great products. So for those of you that are not I suggest you upgrade, and for those of you that are, stay on that path!
