The Amazing Three C's To Fighting Dark Under-Eye Circles

By Sharon A Bell

You love boxing so much, but you do not need to look like a boxer with dark under-eye circles. As a consolation, you might be delighted to know that ninety percent of people have experienced having dark circles under their eyes. But it does not mean that you should welcome these unsightly appearances on your face.

Dark under-eye circles are a common cosmetic problem. They can be caused by heredity, bone structure, allergies, insufficient sleep and a host of other factors. One thing is for sure, they make you look tired and ugly. But rather than endure the embarrassment of having these dark circles, you can try any of the plans listed below and achieve a brighter appearance for your eyes and overall face.

Corrective Procedures

Undergoing corrective procedures is a more forceful solution to stamp out dark under-eye circles; these procedures are also more extravagant. From chemical peels, laser microdermabrasion, to cosmetic surgeries, these procedures can remove unwanted facial pigmentation, like under-eye circles, in weeks and not months or years. However, these procedures come with greater caution because any mistake can be irreversible and can make your appearance more unacceptable. Corrective procedures must always be done by accredited dermatologists or other skin experts.

Cosmetic Concealment

The most basic and economical way of putting your dark under-eye circles out of the view is by using cosmetic concealers such as foundations and shades. To conceal your under-eye circles, simply apply the foundation on the affected surface. The best way to do this is by using your ring fingers because it allows you to blend the shades to the color of your skin more smoothly.

Apply the concealer by lightly and slowly tapping the foundation powder onto the affected surface; always start at the inner eye area and work your way out to your upper cheeks. Do not forget to dust off excess and loose powder to attain a more polished look.

Curative Care

If you want a more permanent fix to your under-eye circles, you have to deal with them on a daily basis. This means assimilating into your regular beauty regimen the use of moisturizers and other applications that are specially formulated to reduce under-eye circles. Look for products that have the beneficial ingredients like collagen, Vitamin E or elastin which have been found to improve the health of the skin around your eye area.

Eye creams are the most preferred curative products for under-eye circles. They stir up blood circulation around the eye area and the rest of the face which results to healthier and unblemished skin. You can try out a number of eye creams until you find the one that works best to reduce your under-eye circles. Just be sure that these products do not cause any allergic or other unwanted reactions on your skin.

You can also use acid-based products moderately just to help loosen up dead skin cells on your eye area. This not only allows new layers of healthy skin cells to come up to the surface, it also allows skin nutrients from moisturizers and other skin care products to deeply penetrate the skin in your eye-area.

Always keep in mind that the skin under your eyes, and all over your face for that matter, is delicate and can be easily damaged. Avoid too much hydration on these parts because you may risk clogging your skin's pores and that can spark other problems for your face. As part of your curative care regimen, you should visit skin care spas or clinics at least once a month.

Also, make it a point to strengthen the tiny blood vessels around the eye area if you want to improve the appearance of your eyes. Products like Eyederma can do that. Visit www.Eyederma.com for more details about reducing dark under-eye circles.

To Wash Or Not To Wash That Is The Question

By A. Covington

Some people would rather eat old cheese than forego a daily hair washing. Others swear up and down that washing hair every day is a beauty no-no.

"Washing hair everyday will fade color faster, strip it of its natural oils and if the shampoo/conditioner is too heavy can be weighed down and static-y-it can be too clean," says Kristin Steckler, a stylist at Tonic II Salon in Las Vegas.

Tony Promiscuo, owner and artistic director of Godiva Salon in the Buckhead area of Atlanta, disagrees. "The only way to have a fresh look is to wash and style your hair daily. Unless you are extremely fortunate and have unusual circumstances hair that has been slept in looks like it. However the proper shampoo is the key. See your stylist for a professional recommendation."
"Unless you have extremely oily hair, you should try to forgo washing your hair daily as it strips hair of its natural oils that maintain the health and natural moisture balance of your hair," says Tim Rogers, editorial stylist for Charles Worthington London. "In fact, many people prefer their hair 24 hours after washing or visiting the salon. It looks and feels its best and is more manageable with less frizz and easier to style." Bring on the battle of the beauticians. As with pretty much everything else, there is no hard or fast rule about whether you should or shouldn't wash your hair every day. It all depends on your hair type. If it's really dry, your hair might start to resemble a squirrel's nest, while those with super oily scalps might look like they styled their hair with Crisco.

Keep hair fresher, longer

So what's a poor soul to do cuz sometimes you just don't have time to lather up. No matter what you think about washing your hair every day, "dirty hair" has some inherent disadvantages (such as oiliness and that un-washed hair smell). The good news is that there are tricks of the trade to help you fool even the toughest critics.

Steckler swears by hair powder to keep hair fresher longer. "Hair powder absorbs a lot of oil on the scalp so it doesn't look greasy. Also, don't use a lot of products." Dirty hair tends to hold shape better than just washed locks, so fortunately you don't need many products, if any at all.

Set the stage

On the day you do wash your hair, Ann Marie Walts, a Redken Artist at The LOFT in West Springfield, Mass. (2nd Floor, 201 Westfield Street, West Springfield, Mass 01089/413-977-6041), recommends taking your time blow-dry styling your hair really well. "If your going to use a styling product, be sure it has a mild hold like Redken's Satinwear or Fabricate," Walts says. "The outside layer of our hair is called the cuticle. Blowdrying your hair in a downward direction will keep the cuticle closed, which gives your hair a nice sheen. To easily achieve this you need to use the nozzle that comes with your hair dryer. The purpose of a nozzle is to concentrate the direction of the airflow while not disturbing the rest of the hair. It makes the air coming out of your hairdryer more streamlined. I do hair for a lot of hair at shows, behind stage, and short of being fired, we always use them!"

Dirty hair smell be gone

So what about that dirty hair smell? "Redken's Fabricate will work wonders," Walts says. "You can apply it to your hair dry and it will not weigh down any hair type. The fragrance is fresh and clean." If you're in doubt about what products to use and how frequently you should wash your hair, Walts suggests a hair analysis. "If your haircare regimen is treating your hair's specific needs, then yes, you should wash it every day," she says. "Consumers would best benefit from having their hair analyzed," she says. "This step is overlooked very often. And a store clerk will not be able to provide this service. Unless the consumer is a chemist and can truly understand a product's ingredients, the correct choice for what her hair actually needs can be misleading. The quality of professional products versus non-professional cannot be compared. Professional products will save money the consumer in the long run, as salon shampoos are very concentrated and last a long time."

Gettin' dirty

According to Walts, medium to coarse curly hair can definitely go longer between washes. "Types that may have to wash daily would be fine, oily or someone who uses a lot of styling products everyday." If you happen to run late one morning or even if you go unwashed on purpose, you can turn unclean hair into your advantage. "Make a finger-combed ponytail on the back of your head (avoid too much brushing as this increases the oiliness) and tie with an elastic," says Rogers. "Twist a length of hair around the elastic, fixing it with bobby pins as you go. Let locks of different lengths twist out if they want to--the more effortless the look, the higher the glam factor. Second day hair is always easier to put up and will stay in place better than freshly washed hair."

Products for second-day hair

As for products, if your hair is curly, revitalize it with water and gentle scrunching. Curly hair tends to be dryer, meaning you can go longer between shampooing it. If it has become frizzy, work a little Charles Worthington London Results Brilliant Shine Curl Definition Mousse through each tendril, tackling it section by section. If your hair is flat, try a little backcombing to give it lift. Start at the crown and work your way around to the sides. You don't need to backcomb all over, just enough to give it lift.

"Many companies, such as Charles Worthington London have introduced products to 'fake' the second day look such as the new, Results 2nd Day Hair Mud, which gives you just that texture without the wait unlike any other product," Rogers says. Finally, if your hair is really oily, apply some talc close to the roots. "Massage it in gently to absorb the excess oil and then brush it out. Or, use a cotton pad to dab a little witch hazel onto the roots to absorb any grease." Have curly hair? Fresh Curls Scrunching Spray Gel is great to spray on dry hair before you were to use your curling iron or flat iron. It is not your typical gel. No crunch and high shine. Hair will be smooth. Tame flyaways with Redken's Glass. This is a silicone based product that adds high shine and softness. Only a couple of drops are all you need.

Is Your Hair Suffering From Too Much Summer Sunshine? Proper Hair Treatment is Essential!

By Katherine Zouein

If your hair is bleached or highlighted your hair, or you lazed for hours in the pool, fall is the perfect time of the year to nurse your tresses back to health. Start now and your hair will be shiny and healthy just in time for those holiday parties!

The health of your hair depends mainly on how you treat it and the products you use. Ask your hairdresser about your hair type. Whether it is dry, oily or normal, choose the right shampoo for your hair. Avoid the common mistake of using shampoos and conditioners that are too harsh or too nourishing for your hair type. For instance, if your hair is oily, make sure your shampoo is designed for oily hair. If you have dry hair, look for a more hydrating and nourishing formula to give it the extra moisture it craves.

Apply shampoo like the Pureology shampoo from Drugstore.com on damp hair with light massaging motions. Applying shampoo twice should be enough to cleanse and nourish your hair; otherwise you run the risk of drying your hair out. If the formula is too harsh it can strip your hair of its essential oils. Always make sure you rinse out the shampoo thoroughly.

Hair Care Tips:

• Apply a hair mask, or hot oil like Alberto VO5 Hot Oil Hair Treatment from Drugstore.com for a longer time than your normal conditioner to nourish and condition your hair once or twice a week. It's essential for every hair type, especially for those with colored or chemically treated hair. Leave the mask on for at least 10-15 minutes.

• Avoid 2 in 1 products which don't have enough nourishment.

• Don't use too many nourishing or styling products - creams, gels, foams, mousses, sprays because they can lead to dandruff and itchy scalp.

• Avoid using products containing silicone if you hair is oily or too thin. These types of products can weight your hair down and take the luster out of your locks.

• Silicon based products are appropriate for dry and chemically treated hair. Try Pureology Nanoworks Condition Revitalisant from Drugstore.com - where you get 17% BondRewards!

Where do you buy your hair products? Consider ordering them online at Drugstore.com where you get 17%, free-shipping on all purchases over $50, avoid the local drugstore and get everything you need once a month. Save money on gas, save money on the best products, choose from multiple salon products (large inventory) and get Savings Bonds when you buy your every-day necessities.

Save while you shop at http://BondRewards.com

Shop at over 500 of your favorite stores and get an average of 9.4% payback! This is free and automatically increases your savings.

By Juliet Cohen

Herbs feed, regulate and cleanse the body naturally. Herbal creams are hand-made from natural products, including herbs, homeopathics and essential oils, generally in a macadamia nut oil base. Discover Why You Need A Manicure Warmer

By Margaret Doolan

Why would you need a warmer in order to give a manicure?

Well, that's a very good question. The warmer isn't for the manicure, and it isn't used in an everyday to day basic manicure. A manicure warmer is for the giving of that very special manicure. This special type of manicure is a spa manicure. A spa manicure, is a little more expensive than its basic counterpart, but is very much worth the splurge to treat yourself every now and again.

The manicure warmer is actually used to warm wax which is used to give a spa manicure. The paraffin wax is heated and melted by the warmer. The wax is then smothered onto the hands of this lucky client. This wax will also acts as a moisturizer. It will moisture and replace essential oils that we loose through every day life, especially through hand washing. The wax will help to temporarily reduce fine lines leaving hands looking younger and softer and rough hands will appear smoother. If you continue to do this regularly your hands will continue to look younger, due to the softening of the skin.

Once the wax has melted and been applied the client she/he is left to relax and wait for the wax to set. The wax doesn't harden into a complete solid form. It's not like the wax of a candle or crayon, and it's also a very thin layer, and is easily removed by a gentle rubbing motion. Once the wax has been heated and applied the manicure warmer is no longer needed. There are many different types of manicure warmers.

Some of these warmers have disposable cups that allow for easy cleaning, while others have to be cleaned daily and emptied. And if you have ever tried to clean up melted wax, you know that this is not a very pleasant task to do.

Manicure warmers can also be used for other purposes in our beauty shops. For example, a lot of our salons might use their warmer to warm the wax that is used for waxing procedures, like bikini, leg, eyebrow, upper lip, arms or even the back. These waxes are stickier and heated to a higher temperature than the wax used for a spa manicure or pedicure.

These manicure warmers can also be used to give spa pedicures, a spa pedicure, dry, rough or cracked feet can really benefit from this treatment. I have treated myself to a spa pedicure on a number of occasions, and believe me it was heaven sent, the feeling was amazing, my feet were relaxed, soft and moisturised, so this is one treatment that everyone should treat themselves to now and again.

So without the invention of manicure warmers, we wouldn't have the greatest hand pampering known as the spa manicure.

Margi Doolan has written a whole host of information on the Magic of Manicures, which can be found by visiting her site http://www.Magic-Manicures.com

Warning - Dark Eye Circles Could Mean Something A Lot Worse

By Sharon A Bell

Dark circles under your eyes can tell a lot about your health and lifestyle. These displeasing discolorations under your eyes are more than just a representation of your tiredness or an undoing of your looks; you may not realize it yet, but these dark under-eye rings are also your early warning system when it comes to your health conditions and needs.

For instance, having these dark eye circles could mean you have poor kidney activity or unhealthy amounts of sugar in your system. It can also mean that you have only taken two glasses of water for a day instead of the required eight. Well, whatever the dark circles under your eyes mean, you should know the root cause of such blemishes around your eyes because you might be suffering from something bigger than a beauty problem.

Lack Of Sleep

Depriving yourself the right amount of sleep can cause anemia and dark circles under your eyes.

Studies have shown that the body's system can start to repair and rejuvenate the skin only during deep levels of sleep; it is only in this condition that blood circulation rushes to your face to reinvigorate facial skin. That is probably the reason why they call it beauty sleep. So if you have inadequate sleep, even if you are not that tired, you will surely have dark eye rings in your eye area.

Congenital Traits

Dark under-eye circles are not only acquired as you grow older, they can also be passed on to you through your genes, much like other beauty and skin problems such as varicose and spider veins. The skin that surrounds your eye area is very delicate. The bluish shade that becomes the dark circles under your eyes is actually blood that passes through the veins under the skin in your eye area. Therefore, if you are born with really thin skin that surrounds your eyes, there is nothing much you can do except to strengthen that piece of skin to avoid dark under-eye circles.

Iron Deficiency

Diet can also contribute to the growth of dark circles under your eyes. If you have poor diet and you lack certain minerals in the body, you can expect that the area under your eyes will have discoloration. It has been observed that deficiency in iron, which is a form of anemia, can bring about dark under-eye circles.

The veins under the eye area become more visible whenever there is a deficiency in iron. That is why even during menstrual periods and pregnancy, occasions where the body lacks significant amount of iron, dark under-eye circles can occur.

Kidney And Liver Troubles

Your under-eye area is believed to be connected to your kidneys and liver. If you are experiencing dark circles under your eyes, it may be time to consult with your doctor because the discoloration can be caused by problems in your kidneys or liver. And whenever these two organs are involved, always remember to drink plenty of water. Dehydration can only worsen your problems with these organs.

Pharmaceutical Products

If you are under medication, there is a good chance that dark circles may occur under your eyes.

If the medicine you are taking can cause your blood vessels to dilate or expand, the increased blood flow will surely show through the skin under your eyes.

After knowing all these causes and after consulting the experts, you should deal with the underlying causes of your dark under-eye circles without delay or you risk other complications.

In the meantime, try to improve the appearance of your eyes by using products like Eyederma.

30 Minute Facial In Five Easy Steps

By Sharnell Scheurer

You can enjoy a facial at home in as little as thirty minutes. By using skincare products that are appropriate to your skin type and condition, as well as certain facial equipment, you can indulge yourself with that little extra special attention that you deserve. Think about it: while your little ones engage in some peaceful afternoon slumber, you can treat yourself to a spa-like facial and emerge a rejuvenated and refreshed woman.

To make your do-it-yourself facial most effective, you will need a few pieces of specialized skincare equipment designed for home use. While the majority of these supplies can be found in your cupboards, there are two additional skincare tools that will prove to be worthwhile investments by allowing your at- home facial to feel authentic and professional.

The Conair MDF2R Facial Sauna with Timer is used to provide a continual mist of warm steam during your facial. This steam will ensure a deep cleanse of your skin by softening and opening up your pores. Facial steam also encourages your treatment masque to penetrate deep into the skin at a faster rate, saving you time. The Conair MDF2R Facial Sauna is conveniently portable and comes well equipped with two fantastic facial tools. The facial brush can be attached to the sauna and applied to your skin during the facial to provide excellent exfoliation. For maximum moisturization, the facial sponge can also be used for application of your facial moisturizer. To create an even more relaxed, spa-like atmosphere, add a drop or two of your favorite essential oil to the steamer water. By incorporating a facial steamer and its useful tools into your at-home facial, you can expect enhanced results and the highest level of treatment possible for your skin.

The second facial tool vital to your do-it-yourself facial is the Tweezerman No-Slip Skin Care Tool, also known as an extractor. Tweezerman skincare tools are high-quality and durable beauty tools that will last a lifetime. Using the extractor for deep pore cleansing is the safest way to perform your own extractions. Used correctly, you can successfully remove all of the dirt, oil, and grime right out of your pores. Extractor tools are easy to use and most efficient when implemented into your facial treatment immediately after steaming. Steam makes your pores very pliable, enabling you to remove debris from each pore with little effort. Should you come across stubborn pores, it is advisable to move on and work in other areas. These pores require stronger exfoliation and can be extracted during future treatments. If you force the extraction, you can irritate the pore and cause a blemish. For those with sensitive skin, do not perform your own extractions. Instead, see a professionally trained skincare therapist to treat your sensitive skin. This will help ensure that your skin is left without any damages or scarring.

The remaining supplies necessary to perform your facial are:
(1) plastic bowl with warm water
(1) facial fan brush
(2) warmed, wet facecloths (100% cotton)
(1-2) cotton pads
(1) magnified mirror
(1) bottle of witch hazel
(1) food processor or blender (to mix masque, if homemade)
(1) wooden spoon (least likely to cause a chemical reaction with ingredients being used to make masque)

You will also need your facial cleanser, toner, moisturizer, eye cream, and sunblock.

Once you have your facial equipment, tools, and products ready, you can begin your at-home skincare treatment. Dim the lights, play some soft music, and follow these five steps to a self-facial. Enjoy!

1. Begin your first cleanse with your facial cleanser. Your first application can be on dry skin. Use upward and circular motions. Be sure to include your neck and décolleté. Meanwhile, get the facial sauna started. Remove the cleanser from your skin with the tepid water in your plastic bowl.

2. With steam applied to the skin, begin a second cleanse. Use the facial brush attachment from your facial sauna. If you do not have a facial brush, you can use a facial scrub instead. Remove the cleanser and scrub with a warm towel.

3. After steaming your skin for at least ten minutes and removing product with a warm towel, you are ready for extractions. For the duration of this step, brighten the lights and use the magnified mirror so that you can clearly see what you are doing. Work only in areas that are being cooperative and spend only 5 minutes or less on your extractions to avoid over stimulating your skin. When finished, soak a cotton pad with witch hazel and clean the extracted areas.

4. Now with your pores in a vulnerable state, you can apply your treatment masque using a fan brush or your fingertips. (Do not forget to dim the lights again!) This masque can be either homemade or from one of your favorite skincare lines. Whichever you decide, this masque should target your skin type and condition. For example, if your skin is dry, use a moisturizing masque. If you are oily, use an oil-absorbing masque, and so on. Leave the masque on for at least ten minutes (or longer if you have the time). Remove masque with a warm towel.

5. Your at-home facial can now be concluded with the application of a hydrating toner (best if misted on with a spray bottle), eye cream delicately patted on under the eyes with your ring fingertip, and your moisturizer and sunblock applied in gentle, sweeping, upward strokes.

Voila! You have officially given yourself a professional style facial treatment from home! By following these easy five steps, you will feel like you have just stepped out of a high-class spa.

Your skin will feel invigorated and your soul uplifted. The beauty of a facial is that it is more than just skin deep. The chance to relax and indulge in some self-pampering can offer a great cleanse of the soul, something we all need every now and then.

Mud Baths - A Truly Unique Experience

By Timothy Croy

The benefits of a mud bath have been realized for centuries, and date back to the days of Cleopatra, who used Dead Sea black mud. Today, mud bath therapy is a popular past-time used by day spas and even physical therapy clinics. There are also several locations for natural mud baths, which form from the combination of hot springs and volcanic ash. The Ischia Island in New Zealand and Calistoga, California are prefect examples of these natural phenomena.

Mud Bath Benefits

Many advocates of mud bath therapy will argue about the multitude of benefits, and back their claims with scientific evidence. However, the main reason mud baths have remained popular is because they are so darn relaxing. The warm feeling of being wrapped up in a cocoon of soft mud simply feels good, and can instantly make one forget about their daily stresses. The warm temperature aids in perspiration, which is said to cleanse the pores. The natural ingredients in a mud bath are also said to relieve muscle and joint pain, improve skin complexion, and even remove harmful toxins from the body.

How Does it Work?

Many day spas and physical therapy clinics attempt to replicate the natural mud bath phenomena; however nothing is as good as the real thing. For example, in Calistoga a member of the parks staff will help you in the deep warm pool of mud (usually around 100 degrees F), while you remain suspended there for ten to fifteen minutes. Once complete or satisfied, the attendant will help you out of the bath and wash you with cold water and washcloths.

The feeling of a mud bath is unlike any therapeutic experience on earth. The mixture of mud and natural ingredients allow you to float in the soft warm mud, as you float just below the surface. With virtually no pressure points on the body during the treatments, the feeling of weightlessness achieved by a mud bath is unmatched.

Some spas add to the experience by allowing one to take a nice mineral whirlpool bath, followed by a steam room treatment and then a soft blanket wrap to top off the day. The entire process can take up to 2 hours, depending if you opt for a massage afterwards. It's truly a one of a kind experience.

What's In a Mud Bath?

Before the commercialization of mud baths, native Indians used volcanic ash and warm spring water to wrap themselves in a kind of mud bath. Today, a few additions have been made to enhance the therapeutic experience. Peat moss is a popular ingredient that aids the body float in a mud bath, and adds to the smooth texture. Recently spas have added aromatherapy ingredients, such as lavender or eucalyptus. Most spas will mix these ingredients with boiling mineral water and nearby volcanic ash, which completes the mud bath recipe. Surprisingly mud baths remain sterile from client to client due to the boiling water.

Get That Off the Beach Look - Sunless Tanning

By Timothy Croy

Today, everyone seems to be searching for that deep summer tan. However, people are looking for safer alternatives that can be used year round. In the past, sunless tanning products would leave people with an orange glow. Now, there are a variety of products on the markets that can be used to achieve that warm summer glow, without the orange streaks.

Using a self tanner is definitely a time commitment. For the most part, all self tanners take approximately 45 minutes to an hour to begin working. If you include drying time, you could actually spend nearly 3 hours trying to achieve that summer glow. You will also need to factor in the once a week maintenance time as well.

Whether you are lying out in the sun, trying to get a tan or are using sunless tanners, the epidermis layer of your skin is where the tanning takes places. The epidermis is made up of several different layers. The top layer, the stratum corneum, is the layer of the epidermis that is affected when you use a sunless tanning product.

On the market today, there are sunless tanners, bronzers and even tanning pills. The tanners come in a variety of different forms such as, gels, creams, foams, lotions and misting sprays. The most effective of these products are ones that contain dihydroxyacetone or DHA.

Dihydroxyacetone is a colorless sugar that works with the dead cells of the epidermis, causing the skin to change colors. Generally speaking, the color will last approximately five to seven days from the original application.

Self tanners that contain amino acid tyrosine are said to both stimulate and increase the amount of melanin formation. Therefore, they will accelerate the tanning process. However, there is currently no data that supports this claim.

The tanning pill, which contains canthaxanthin is not approved by the FDA to be used as a tanner. It is commonly used in certain foods as a color additive. When used in foods, it is used in small amounts. However, when used as a tanning product, it is used in much higher doses. After the pill is consumed, canthaxanthin is deposited throughout the entire body, including the skin.

The deposits cause the skin to turn an orangish-brown color. It is important to note that such pills have been linked to a variety of side effects, including canthaxanthin retinopathy and hepatitis.

Bronzers are another popular form of sunless tanners. After these moisturizers and powders are applied they create a tan. This type of sunless tanner can easily be removed with water and soap. Similar to every day make-up, bronzers only tint the skin until it is washed off.

How To Remove Sunless Tanning Products

By Timothy Croy

There are so many benefits of tanning spray over using tanning beds. Tanning beds exposes you to the very harmful UVA and UVB rays – the same harmful rays the sun has, but in artificial form. However, it is just as harmful, if not even more. The more you tan the higher your risk is for skin cancers. Skin cancer can be deadly. More and more people are getting skin cancer now than before because of this trend or fad in having tan skin. What most people do not realize is that a tan is actually a slight sun burn. The more sun burns you get in your life (no matter when you get them) the higher your risk is for skin cancer. The same goes for sun burns, sun poisoning, and any other adverse effects the sun has on your skin. Using tanning spray does not expose your skin to these harmful rays, but it does give your skin that nice tan look. You get the tan without the risks of using a tanning bed. If you want to tan, use a tanning spray so you don’t put yourself at risk for skin cancer.

Sunless tanning spray can be difficult to remove. You might find that you do not like the results of your sunless tanning spray. There you are in the bathroom trying to figure out how to get it off and freaking out! It is all right. We all have to try different types of sunless tanning spray until we find just the right one for our skin tone and style.

Follow The Instructions –

First, take out the instructions for the sunless tanning spray to see if you can find anything about removing the product. Try what the instructions suggest first. If you have already thrown it away, or can’t find it, don’t worry. There are various other things you can do to get that stuff off.

Baking Soda Tanning Spray Removal –

Get some baking soda to help you remove the tanning spray. Take an unopened box of baking soda into the bathroom with you and leave it within reach of your shower. Go ahead and take your shower as you usually would – wash, rinse, shampoo, conditioner, shave, etc. Then get some baking soda in your hand and rub it together with both hands. Start with one leg at a time. Scrub the baking soda on to your skin. You can use a wash cloth or a sponge to help scrub with the baking soda. Once you have done your entire body you might need to do this one or two more times to get the results you want. Make sure you keep it out of your eyes.

Sunless Tanning Spray Runs –

You might also find that after you have applied the tanning spray that you have a run somewhere on your body. So, you need to remove it. You can use baking soda to remove the run the same way you can in removing the product itself. Just gently scrub the run with baking soda until you get the results you want. Next time you apply your sunless tanning spray keep a damp wash cloth next to you so you can wipe any runs you see happening.

Preparing Your Skin For Your Tanning Spray –

Prepare for your sunless tanning spray before you use the product. A good way to do this is by using a good exfoliating product on your skin for at least three days before you use the sunless tanning spray. This should only be done when you know which tone is best for you and your skin!

What are Some Safe Alternatives to Tanning Beds?

By Timothy Croy

It is no secret that tanning beds are bad for your skin. Their harmful UV rays contribute to premature aging as well as various types of skin cancer. For some people, though, the desire for a bronze glow outweighs the dangers that they may encounter. So if you are determined to get a tan, are there any methods that are safe? Is it possible to get a tan that looks natural, is healthy and does not carry the risks of being exposed to direct UV rays as you would in a tanning bed? The short answer is yes, it is possible. The long answer, though, will help you find the method that is right for you.

Natural Sun Tanning

You hit the beach or lay out in your back yard, soaking up the sun's rays. Hey, you may argue, the sun triggers vitamin D synthesis in the skin which helps our bodies in a variety of ways, including the ability to process bone building calcium. This is true, but this fact does not make sunshine a healthy alternative to tanning beds. Sun light carries harmful UV rays just as tanning beds do. By exposing your skin to natural sunlight, you are leaving yourself vulnerable to skin cancer, premature aging of the skin and other skin problems. Although it is believed that UV ray exposure in a tanning bed can be as much as ten times more than exposure from the sun, the risk is still there. Don’t take chances, wear sunscreen and try a healthier alternative to tanning.

Air Brush Tanning

Airbrush tanning is fast (usually applied in about ten minutes), easy, even and natural looking. In fact, this tanning method is often considered to be the most natural looking of the sunless tanning methods. With airbrush tanning, a technician applies the tan using a compressor and an airbrush. They have control over the tanning process and can use lighter application over problem areas such as elbows, knees and blemishes which tend to absorb more color than the skin surrounding them. This leaves a tan that is streak free, even and natural looking because it can be taken all the way to the hairline.

Sunless Tanning Lotions and Sprays

Sunless tanning lotions and sprays have come a long way from their orange tinted ancestors. Today's sunless tanning products provide a natural tan in a form that is sometimes tinted which makes even application that much easier. The downside is that if you are not careful, you can wind up with dark ankles, streaks on your feet, white hands and other unattractive mishaps that come from faulty application. Some of the sprays and mists do offer a better chance at an even coverage, but these products can run and cause streaks. However, this is the most cost effective method and if you apply the product per the manufacturer's instructions, you should be OK. It may help to have someone assist you for hard to reach areas such as your back.

Tanning Pills

There are three types of tanning pills: caretenoid pills, tyrosine pills and others that seem to have nothing substantial except for some fancy sounding vitamins and herbs. Caretenoid pills contain a substance that causes carrots to be orange and shrimp to be pink. When taken internally, the pigment is absorbed by the tissues, causing the skin to appear tanned. However, this type of supplement has been banned in the United States because it has been determined that the amount that must be taken in order to achieve a tan is dangerous. They can also cause uneven pigmentation and even damage your vision. Tyrosine pills are passed off as tanning activators. The bottom line here is that tanning pills are not only ineffective scams but are actually potentially dangerous. Your best bet is to steer clear of them altogether and opt for safer tanning methods.

Hard Water Hair

By Juliet Cohen

Hard water is water that has a high mineral content. This content usually consists of high levels of metal ions, mainly calcium and magnesium in the form of carbonates. It is estimated that more than 85% of the water used by consumers in the US can be classified at some level of “hard” water. The term “hard water” was originally coined to refer to water that was difficult or hard to work with. The term “hard water” was originally coined to refer to water that was difficult or hard to work with. Hard water requires much more soap, shampoo, or detergent than soft water; and the minerals in hard water can decrease soap’s lathering capabilities. A common distinction is made between 'temporary' and 'permanent' hardness.

There are also common types of hard water depending on the ion found in the water. Hard water causes scaling, which is the precipitation of minerals to form a deposit called limescale.

Scale can clog pipes and can decrease the life of toilet flushing units. It can coat the inside of tea and coffee pots, and clog and ruin water heaters. Similarly, the insoluble salts that get left behind from using regular shampoo in hard water tend to leave hair rougher and harder to detangle. In industry, hard water contributes to scaling in boilers, cooling towers and other industrial equipment. Hardness is controlled by addition of chemicals and by large-scale softening with zeolite resins and ion exchange resins.Washing hair in soft water will have a different result because it leaves fewer insoluble deposits on the hair.

Hard water tends to make the scales stand up, which makes your hair feel rough and tangly.

Types of hard water a common distinction is made between 'temporary' and 'permanent' hardness. Temporary hardness is hardness that can be removed by boiling or by the addition of lime (calcium hydroxide). Permanent hardness is hardness (mineral content) that cannot be removed by boiling. It is usually caused by the presence of calcium and magnesium sulfates.

Chlorides in the water, which become more soluble as the temperature rises. Hard water may be treated to reduce the effects of scaling and to make it more suitable for laundry and bathing.

Soft water lathers better than hard water but leaves a "slippery feeling" on the skin after use with soap.

Teeth Whitening - The Facts

By Timothy Croy

Nearly anyone that wants to brighten their teeth or smile can benefit from teeth whitening products. Some reasons you may want to get your teeth whitened may be due to your age, staining, or smoking. These factors all make you an excellent candidate for teeth whitening. Studies indicate that the teeth whitening process is effective in more than 80% of patients. Teeth whitening is now becoming more popular than ever, and research to better the teeth whitening system follows close behind.

Teeth whitening is a non-permanent procedure that works by removing harmful organic materials in the tooth enamel. The bleaching compound, which is a peroxide derivative, works by dissolving the organic materials in the enamel. For this reason, teeth whitening is more effective if there is an ample supply of enamel.

Today, there are 2 basic types of teeth whitening procedures: those done at the home via whitening kits, and those at a dentist's office by specialists.

Teeth Whitening Home Kits

Teeth whitening kits provide an affordable alternative to professional teeth whitening. Generally, the kits contain a brand-name whitening gel that is applied in a provided mouthpiece. The mouthpiece is then fit over the teeth and left on for various amounts of time. The cost of these kits can vary greatly, as a quality one can be several hundred dollars, while a cheaper kit will only cost you around 30 dollars. Obviously a quality kit will be more effective due to the better ingredients used in the gels.

To be sure you get a quality kit, look for the ADA seal of approval on the box (American Dental Association). Following the manufacturer's directions in the box is very important when using a home kit. Also, be sure to consult with a dentist if you plan to use a whitening kit for long periods of time. The bleaching compounds can cause severe teeth sensitivity that can have long term effects.

Professional Teeth Whitening

A professional teeth whitening treatment is the more expensive of the 2 options, however it is the safest and is generally more effective. A dental specialist will first determine if you are a good candidate for teeth whitening, then decide which type of whitening system would best fit your situation. Once determined as a candidate, the dental specialist will remove any general debris and plaque in the teeth that may hamper the whitening process. If you have cavities or gum disease, this will need to be taken care of prior to treatment.

Generally, the professional method is the preferred choice of most, as positive results are more common. Be sure to consult with your dentist to see if you are a candidate for teeth whitening, as it is instant and generally hassle free.

Are There Disadvantages or Limitations to Teeth Whitening?

As with any cosmetic treatments, there are bound to be a few side effects that can occur. Sore gums, sore teeth, and hyper-sensitivity can be caused by the whitening bleach. Also, don't expect your bridges, crowns, or fillings to brighten. The teeth whitening material is only effective for tooth enamel. Therefore, it is very important that you consult with a dentist before trying a whitening product, especially home kits.

You may also find yourself disappointed with the results. Everyone is different; therefore no procedure will have the same results. If you are unsatisfied with your teeth after a whitening procedure, you should consult with your dentist if further treatments will help or not.

Because teeth whitening has become so popular and effective, research continues to improve all teeth whitening systems.

Health And Beauty Benefits Of Honey

By Janice H.

Honey is best known for great healing. Its natural sugar content and the rich sources of nutrients makes it a great sweetener for coffee and sugar. Let's study closely how it started gaining popularity for the variety of uses ancient people started centuries ago.

HONEY'S NUTRIENTS and HEALING PROPERTIES

Honey's rich nutrients, enzyme and antioxidant content combined with its ability to thwart infections makes it a potent healer. From ancient time, honey has been known for its high nutritional and medicinal value. It is believed to be very beneficial for eyesight, reducing effects of poisoning, stopping hiccups, treating urinary tract disorders, worm infestations, nausea, vomiting, cleansing, healing wounds and many more healing properties.

Honey contain mainly carbohydrates, water, vitamins and minerals, including niacin, riboflavin, pantothenic acid, calcium, copper, iron, magnesium, manganese, phosphorus, potassium and zinc.

Honey is also rich in enzymes, antioxidants and other phytonutrients. It also contains flavonoids and phenolic acids which act as antioxidants, scavenging and eliminating free radicals. These antioxidants substances found in honey have been responsible for the wound-healing properties of honey. Due to its wound-healing properties, honey has been used widely as an antiseptic therapeutic agent for treatment of ulcers, burns and wounds for centuries.

HOW HEALING of WOUND WORKS By USING HONEY

Due to its contents of glucose and fructose, which attract water, honey absorbs water from wound, drying it out so that the growth of bacteria and fungi are inhibited. Secondly, an enzyme called glucose oxidase found in raw honey, which if combined with water, produces hydrogen peroxide, a mild antiseptic for medication benefits.

BEAUTY BENEFITS Of HONEY

The vitamins, minerals and amino acids found in honey make it a wonderful beauty aid. It provides great nutritional value to the skin and hair and the effects will be seen if taken over a period of time. In fact if taken for longer period of time, it helps our skin to glow more radiantly, helps to reduce wrinkles, thus making us look younger.

Honey is also an excellent moisturizing agent and natural cleanser and therefore, popularly used in wide skin-cleansing formulations. It increases exfoliation or renewal of the skin cells that makes the skin softer and younger.

Other supplementary products of honey which are royal jelly, propolis have been used in beauty saloon as facial mask that command great prices due to its effective results for a more glowing skin.

OTHER HEALTH BENEFITS Of HONEY

Due to its ready availability of carbohydrates, honey provides instant energy sources if taken prior to exercises which improves performances. It helps in muscles recovery faster if taken after an exercises program.

Honey also increases the growth and activity of good bacteria in the gut. Results from recent studies show that taking honey with dairy products such as yogurt can enhance growth and viability of bifidobacteria.

Other benefits of honey are its anti-inflammatory actions which help in treating a sore throat.

HOW To TAKE HONEY As HEALTH SUPPLEMENT

Honey can be taken as it is in one tea spoon without mixing with water first thing in the morning or anytime in the day as you wish. For me I prefer to take honey as it is with royal jelly and propolis in the morning before breakfast and drink. It provides me with energy for the whole day with royal jelly as a good beauty aid and propolis a great antioxidant too. After a short period of time, my complexion improved tremendously with intake of honey and this motivated me to continue taking it knowing that it has high antioxidant and healing power too.

Beauty Cannot Be Found At The Tip Of A Syringe

By Cynthia Rowland

It's a hard lesson to learn but beauty just cannot be found at the end of a scalpel or the tip of a syringe. The only fountain of youth that is guaranteed to keep your face looking younger is facial exercise.

Injections using serums that paralyze and plump may in time have a negative effect on faces because these injections do nothing to stop the aging process. If one stops using injectable drugs the face may look distorted and droopier than it was before the injections began.

Repeated injections may produce different results each time and they may not always look pleasing. It's like going to your hairdresser; sometimes the cut and style is absolutely perfect and then the next two times, it's just a little off.

Remember, these upscale purchases buy risks and complications. These can include excessive bruising and blurred vision; sometimes your smile can be negatively affected, or you may experience only an overly dry mouth. Drugs can have adverse effects.

Surgery and injections are temporary. If you decide to repeat certain facial surgeries, you may look warped after the third or fourth procedure. And, have you noticed that certain people begin to resemble each other? Think "the Joker" from Batman.

Let me remind you that surgery is forever so once your healthy tissue is cut and sutured, you never really look like you again.

Some people mistakenly believe that surgery and injections are the quick fixes – they are not!

Recovery poses situations like time away from family, possible infection, pain, swelling, bruising and excessive bleeding.

Common sense dictates that fooling with your God-given good looks may result in disastrous consequences.

Why not play it smart and use exercise to look younger?

None of the above conditions are present when one chooses exercise. Exercise is natural, the movements require only a few minutes each day and your face begins to return to a more youthful look in hardly anytime at all.

You are probably curious how exercise can help you look like you did five, ten, even fifteen years ago. The process is simple.

First of all, a face looks aged when the muscles hidden beneath the skin begin to lose their tone.

When this happens, the muscles elongate and this action then drags down the skin. The muscles pool into other muscles and muscle groups resulting in the formation of wrinkles and excessive sagging.

If you have hooded eyes, jowls, pouches or even a turkey neck, this is a direct result of lax muscle tone and these conditions can be remedied with facial exercise.

Just as your body responds to resistant exercise, your tiny facial muscles can benefit from isometric contractions that reposition the muscles more youthfully. The facial skin is attached to the muscles and when you exercise your face, you increase the circulation and that aids in developing younger looking skin.

From the inside out, recapture the face you thought was lost forever.

Using your thumbs and fingers in white cotton gloves you will soon understand how resistance and contraction plumps up your facial muscles that are sagging from atrophy.

The plumping happens quickly as oxygenated blood is forced to the tissues. The skin looks healthier, your face is tighter and you look younger.

Will you look like you are twenty again? Of course not but your face will look more toned, tightened and lifted as a result of exercise.

The Nuance Of Nail Polish

By Jane Biddulph

For many little girls, their first encounter with cosmetics takes place during dress up play. As a young lady you may even receive "play make-up" as a gift. Proper grooming meant it was essential to remove all traces of make-up before venturing outside. You weren't going to be allowed to go out the door with bright red lips or green eyes that reached beyond your brows.

Nail polish is usually the first cosmetic that a little miss is permitted to wear out in public. Does it not hold the same stigma? Is it that colorful nails aren't as noticeable as a face full of make-up, so are easily overlooked by busy mothers? Or is it that a hurried family just doesn't have the time to wait while it's removed?

Nail lacquer is fun! Even as adults, when women "do their nails" with a colorful nail varnish, it can feel like playing. It's also a wonderful treat for when a bit of pampering is needed. You can't help feeling cheery when you are painting your nails. And there is the walk down memory lane you take, recalling all the chats you had with your best friends or sisters while sharing the latest popular shade.

Us girls, see all those little bottles of polish and exclaim "oh how lovely". Very much like a man's reaction of "oh what a beauty" while flipping through car magazines. Since car paint and nail varnish are comparable... this similarity in reaction seems to make sense. Do you fancy nail polish? Back in the 1950's it was recommended by cosmetic retailers to match your lipstick with your nail polish. That's one way to select a shade but you can wear it to compliment your complexion, clothes, the season or even your mood. Feeling shy? Stick to light shades. Want to stand out in a crowd? Make a bold statement with deep vibrant colors.

It isn't just the colors that are appealing, but also the names given to the different shades. Red is a tint which has been popular since modern day nail polish first became available in the shops back in the 1930's. A true classic, it has gone by many names, including Congo Red, Crimson Beauty, Ripe Cherry and Spark of Fire.

There are so many possible choices, that if you still can't decide, just take a chance on a name you love. After all, just like when we were children, nail polish should be fun.

Perfume, Health And Colors

By Roberto Sedycias

It is well known that perfume was widely used to elevate moods or cure bodily ailments by royalty and commoners alike. Even pharmacists, who knew of the healing properties of the plant oils used in perfumes, applied these fragrant compounds to cure several ailments of their customers.

Besides the oil of plants, color was also used to heal. It is by no chance that a woman favors a particular color amongst various hues and tones. Certain colors reveal certain characteristics of the woman, which is then utilized for healing purposes. A woman and her perfume have an intense love affair rather than a half-hearted dalliance. The perfume was, is, and shall remain as unique as the woman was, is, and shall remain as different.

Nowadays perfumes are made up of synthetic compounds; however, earlier they were all made from plant oils extracted by various ingenious processes. These plant oils are still being used in certain high-end perfumes. Plant oils that are used in perfume are known to have beneficial effects on the general wellness of human beings. They act as antimicrobial, antifungal, antiparasitic, antiviral, and antibacterial agents. They also are known as antiseptics and strong disinfectants. Thus, people using plant oil based perfumes also benefit from their other properties that promote bodily health.

Basil oil is known for its mood enhancing property especially in cases of depression. It can also relieve migraines and headaches. Perfume with basil oil is widely used in Eastern countries. A very common oil that is used extensively in perfumery is Bergamot oil. Besides being an excellent insect repellant, it is also extremely helpful in chicken pox and cold sores. Persons under the influence of alcohol or other forms of intoxication are generally given a whiff of a perfume containing black pepper oil. This oil has a sharp smell, and enhances blood circulation.

It helps in making these semi-conscious persons come to consciousness, in a pleasant and fragrant way.

Perfume containing black pepper oils is also used in bruises, as it increases circulation thereby promoting fast healing. Clove oil is used as an analgesic, antispasmodic, carminative, antiseptic, antiemetic, and is widely used in dentistry. Eucalyptus oil, sandalwood oil, lavender oil, thyme oil, are used for soothing headaches, inflammations, and minor cuts. Lemon oil is also known to have antistress and antidepression properties. Rose oil, Jasmine oil, Ylang-ylang oil, and sandalwood oil are popularly used as aphrodisiacs. Perfume having these oils is also used for such purposes besides being used purely for olfactory pleasures.

Over time, perfumers have found that colors play an important part on the choices of perfumes.

Perfumers and perfume advisors frequently use the color rosette test to determine the inherent nature of the woman and which scent would ideally suit her. A woman is asked to select from seven different color combinations. It has been found that a woman who chooses a combination of red, orange, yellow, and pale green, is generally extroverted, optimistic, positive, and active.

Her choice of perfume would be fresh-floral fragrant notes. If a woman chooses subdued, pastel-like hues, she generally would be introverted and pensive, seeking oriental fragrances. If a woman chooses blue-black or mauve, then she is generally inclined towards the mysterious and is extremely introverted, seeking rare scents and fragrances. Likewise, from different color combinations, a woman`s choice of perfumes, whether fruity, floral, Chypre, etc., may be determined.

However, before coming to a conclusion about a woman`s tendencies and tastes, it must be kept in mind that emotions, lifestyle, events, buying habits, and seasons, influence a woman`s decision while buying a perfume. For example, on a hot afternoon, almost all women, irrespective of their color preferences, choose scents with cool mint, or oceanic fragrances.

Those same women, on a wintry afternoon would rather go for musk or floral fragrances, and during monsoon, they almost would always prefer fruity flavors for their perfumes.

Tips For Dealing With Foot Odor

By Marilee Tolen

Some people, no matter what they seem to do, create a waft of a "less than pleasant scent" as they slip off their shoes.

Foot odor can be very embarassing, especially in summer when you feet are not covered as much as they are during other months of the year.

The good news is that there are simple things that we can pay attention to that can help rectify this problem, and many of these are solutions we can do at home for ourselves!

Here are some tips to prevent or neutralize malodorous feet:

--Don't wear synthetic socks (polyester) or shoes (man-madematerials). Feet need to breathe so wear natural fibers like cottons, silks, and leather for shoes.

--Drink a lot of water Water helps to move toxins from the body. Foot odor can be related to a build up of toxins

--Folks who experience excessive sweating should be medically checked for endocrine imbalances.

--Dust your feet with cornstarch

--Zinc deficiencies sometimes cause body odor

--Frequently alternate shoes that you wear

--Add fresh herbs to your diet. Eat more parsley, cilantro, cinnamon, oregano, rosemary, licorice

--Drink diluted liquid chlorophyll

--Eat alkalinizing foods (fruits, vegetables, lemon and avoid caffeine and alcohol)

--Deodorize your shoes with sprinkles of activated charcoal, coffee grounds, grass clippings, baking soda, cat litter

--Use essential oils on the bottom of your feet daily. Tea-tree (melaleuca), lavender, Purification (YL blend)

--Mix lavender (5 drops) with a few tablespoons of baking powder and sprinkle in your shoes.

Let sit overnight and empty out in the morning.

Another great way to prevent your feet from smelling less than desirable are to do foot soaks.

Here are two wonderful soaking suggestions:

1 - Tea
Brew two tea bags in 2 1/2 cups of water for 15 minutes and pour the tea into a basin containing a gallon of cool water. Soak feet for 20 minutes every day until the smell is gone.

2-Tomato Juice and Baking Soda with a few teaspoons of vinegar added to it.
Anytime there is a 'malodorous' smell in the body - view it as the body going through its normal detoxification system and help it out with these tips!

6 Keys to Beauty

By Linda Chase

Many women are obsessed with the concept of beauty. As a society we build up the many aspects of physical, outer beauty. Though women have typically been the ones focused on how to look their best men are starting to be more open about their need to look their best.

If you walk up to anyone on the street and ask them whether we emphasize outer appearance more than we should you will probably get a high percentage of "yes" answers but those same people will do everything they can to look their best. This is why the beauty industry is so strong.

So what are the key areas that we should focus on when we want to become beautiful or maintain our beauty? Here is a 6 broad areas that will cover your beauty needs:

1. Hair

2. Skin

3. Fitness

4. Cosmetics

5. Nail Care

6. Fashion

Hair:

A good haircut and styling can make your whole look. Our society is becoming much more multicultural in the US so what defines beautiful hair is changing. Companies are now producing hair care products that are tailored to every type of hair. Whether you have curly, frizzy, straight, oily or dry hair there is a hair care product line at the drug store for you. There are hair coloring treatments, hair straightening treatments and perm products that are now available to take home. Even the men have coloring treatments to hide their gray hairs.

Men tend to have it easy when it comes to hair since most of them have shorter haircuts that don't require too much maintenance but there is a huge demand for products related to hair loss. Even though hair loss effects women, genetically men deal with this challenge the most.

Skin:

Is beauty synonymous with youth? If you look at the area of skin care you would definitely think so. As we age we lose moisture in our skin. We no longer have that shiny new penny look that the typical 5 year old has. The area of skin care is benefiting from many advances in science. The beauty of the skin is being restored by products that slough off the old skin cells and apply nanotechnology to penetrate the skin.

Fitness:

True beauty does not mean you have to be razor thin but being fit and active is the cornerstone to a healthy body. Though dieting and weight loss get a lot of attention getting into a regular exercise routine will help you define the look of your body. Depending on your age and health you can be as aggressive as you want in defining your exercise and fitness goals.

Cosmetics:

Natural beauty is not as appreciated as it used to be. Makeup can be used to enhance a person's appearance. As we age we definitely find more needs for that concealer that we hardly used in our youth. Cosmetics can be a great tool to highlight what we all see the most, our face. Cosmetics can be very expensive and in the wrong hands can actually detract from your appearance so use them wisely.

Nail Care:

Within the last 10 years we have definitely seen a jump in the amount of nail salons. They can't be missed at your local mall. Manicures and pedicures definitely can make you feel beautiful and pampered. The hands in particular stand out in your everyday interaction with others. Are you more apt to remember someone with a great manicure or not?

Fashion:

Lastly is our obsession with the latest clothing fashions. Is it too late to wear white? Bootcut or straightcut jeans? Every morning we have to decide how and whether what we wear will affect how others think we look. We get our cues from the latest magazines and what people are wearing on our favorite shows. For the creative among us we can define our own styles.

So if you want to look and feel beautiful be sure to focus on understanding these 6 keys to beauty and how they relate to you. Some of us may need more help in one area than another depending on what nature gave us but we should always make the most out of the beauty assets we have been given.
