How To Remove Dark Circles Under Your Eyes

By Y. Woo

For those who have suffered a darkening of the areas around the eyes, we have all probably tried to eradicate it to no avail. Well that’s because there’s no simplistic explanation to this, thus there’s also no simplistic cure for this. I will point out the variety of factors for this so you can determine the course of action you might want to take. It might be known by many names but we shall refer to it as “dark circles”. The reasons for the symptom described here hopefully will help you how to remove dark circles in your eyes.

Causes for the dark circles in the eyes:

First is Genetics, you might be pre-disposed to have light colored and thin skin beneath the eyes, this will show the blood beneath your veins to create that dark color effect.

Second is by the simple physical act of scratching the eyes due to a variety of reason be it an allergy, asthma and eczema.

Third will be those medications that inadvertently causes the veins under the eyes to dilate; you will notice that this is almost the same explanation as that for genetics. Only this time, the problem is not caused by naturally thin skin but rather by the effects of medication.

Fourth reason will be because of malnutrition, the dark circles appear as certain types of mineral if lacking can cause discoloration as well. Iron is commonly believed to be the cause of the dark circles if the individual is lacking from it.

Fifth, though the connection is indirect, fatigue will cause dark circles too since lack of sleep causes paleness of skin therefore allowing the darker colored vein to show up.

Lastly, the unwanted dark circles of the eyes might be symptoms of kidney or liver problems since the area underneath the eyes are very much related to the two organs. Also, it might be because of dehydration since it also causes the blood to darken as a result of viscosity build-up.
As you can see, there’s no single cure for the dark circle effect that you can see in your eye but fortunately you can try addressing each of the reasons stated above so as to combat it effectively.

The best way to do this is to eliminate the reasons explained duly and try new products that might be of help.

How to Clean Combs and Brushes

By Jerry White

Keeping your combs and brushes clean is a must for keeping your hair clean and healthy. There are a couple of different ways you can do this - the boiling water method and the baking soda method.

Boiling Water Method

1. Remove all the hair from your brushes. You can do this by holding them under running water and using a comb to comb the hair out.

2. Boil about 4 cups of water.

3. Pour the boiling water into a large bowl.

4. Add about 1/2 tsp. of detergent or bleach and stir.

5. Put your combs and brushes into the water and let them sit for about an hour.

6. Take them out and lay them on a towel to air-dry.

Baking Soda Method

1. Remove all the hair from your brushes. You can do this by holding them under running water and using a comb to comb the hair out.

2. Find a tall, narrow container (such as a tall drinking glass or vase) that will hold all the combs and brushes you wish to clean.

3. Fill the container 3/4 full with hot tap water (so the baking soda will dissolve).

4. Add 1 tsp. of baking soda to the water and gently stir.

5. Put your combs and brushes into the water and let them sit for at least an hour.

6. Take them out and lay them on a towel to air-dry.

Removing Buildup

If you are a gel, mousse, or hairspray user, you will have a buildup on your combs/brushes. If you have buildup on your comb, you'll notice a fuzzy looking coating on them when you remove them from the baking soda water or the detergent water.

1. Since you have already soaked the combs for an hour in either baking soda or detergent water, the buildup can be gently wiped off with the bristles of an old toothbrush under running water. The bristles can get into the tiny spaces of a comb and clean it properly.

2. Give your combs one final rinse under running water to make sure all the buildup is removed.

3. Place them on a towel to air-dry.

How To Select The Right Perfume Or Scent For Yourself

By J. Macdonald

Perfumes and special scents are often the first things that will be noticed when people walk into the room, so it's best to make sure you are wearing the perfume that best reflects the kind of attention your wanting, e.g. a light scent for an interview or a more powerful one on a romantic date.

There are various ways to select the right perfume for yourself. Knowing how your tastes and styles are will often decipher which perfumes are the right match for you.

Often times, many women will discover that just by wearing the right perfume that they can turn the heads of others. This is such a wonderful confidence boost for many women. To be able to captivate someones attention with the right scent can truly be a challenge all in its own.

Some examples of how to match the right scent for your personality: If you are adventurous and like to travel to distant lands, then perhaps a great scent to try would be something that has a very "crisp" scent. Women that may be more sensual will want something light and clean, perhaps like a baby powder soft fragrance.

A great place to test out a new fragrance is often on either on the wrists or in the inside part of your elbow. These areas of the body are the best locations to test out perfumes. Waiting for about an hour or so will give time for the fragrance to settle onto the skin, as well as gives yourbody the chance to react to the scent. Pheromones in women react differently to scents.

Therefore, what can smell great on one woman may not be the right scent for another.

Testing perfumes out before you make a purchase is a great way for you to decide what perfumes may work without having to buy an entire vial of fragrance. It is also important to remember, when you test out a new perfume it may smell totally different on the skin versus in the bottle, so test it out on where you intend to use it.

Remembering to choose a perfume that suits your personality can make all the difference in the world when it comes to perfume.

Natural Beauty Treatments- Secrets From A Tropical Garden

By Lena Morgan

Many women in Asia toil all day in the rice field under the hot sun yet retain glowing complexions well into their golden years. And they don't set foot inside a Body Shop. So what's their secret?

The fact is, they have all the cosmetics they need around them - in the coconut tree, the banana plant and the jasmine bush, to mention just a few. In fact, their whole environment's a source of beauty products. Here's a quick look at some of nature's cosmetics and what they can do for your face.

Nothing quite evokes the tropics like the coconut palm. You can see it in all the tourist posters. In fact the coconut palm is at the heart of tropical life. People use the wood for building houses, the leaves for roofing, and the fruit for everything. The husk is used as fuel for cooking, the inner fruit as a food, and the water for refreshment and medicine. But the coconut has amazing properties as one of nature's medicines and cosmetics, too. For one thing, coconut oil has antiviral, antifungal and antibacterial properties. And it's a wonderful moisturizer. Try massaging your face with it at night and see how it smooths out your skin.

The banana too is one of the staple flora of the tropics. Not only is it a tasty snack but is also one of nature's cosmetics. Try making a facial pack with mashed banana and almond or olive oil. Your face will thank you. And this delicious fruit is packed with vital nutrients. The banana contains five times the vitamin A and iron and twice the quantity of most other vitamins and minerals. So enjoy a banana and let those anti-oxidants work their magic.

From the world of flowers, jasmine is venerated in Buddhist cultures and its scent adds magic to the garlands used in daily rituals. But jasmine also has therapeutic and cosmetic properties.

Jasmine is classed as an aromatic herb. These herbs boost the circulation and reduce stress. As an ingredient in a facial pack, jasmine purifies and clears oily skin. And jasmine tea is a detoxifier that will help clear toxins from your system. This will let your beauty shine through.

So maybe you don't live on the Malabar Coast or the Gulf of Siam, but that doesn't mean you can't enjoy the fruits of the tropics. These joys are as far away as your supermarket or herb shop.

For a complete tropical beauty makeover, discover the natural beauty secrets of Siam only at http://www.ampawan.com

Feel Good Naked - Natural Beauty Secrets

By Elaine Woosey

How confident are you when it comes to being naked? Sadly, a lot of women agonise about their bodies and revealing all can be a traumatic experience. If you are looking for tips, tricks and beauty secrets to help you make the most of your natural beauty and feel good naked, you've come to the right place.

Number one of all the beauty secrets is this, if you want to feel good naked you must be happy in your own skin.

To help you achieve this, look after your skin to bring out its natural beauty. Exfoliate regularly to remove dead skin cells and give your circulation a boost, this will encourage new skin cells at the same time. Encouraging new skin cells will give your skin a younger, fresher look.

Always moisturise using a good moisturiser and pay special attention to dry areas such as elbows, knees and feet. Take your time and massage the moisturiser right into your skin.

Massaging not only helps your circulation it also helps to smooth out bumps and wrinkles and will enhance your natural beauty. Olive oil, an old-fashioned beauty secret, will give your skin a luxurious look as well as making it soft and supple to touch. As the surface of your skin improves and you get to know your body better you will begin to feel good naked.

Remove unsightly hairs from your legs, under your arms and tidy up your bikini line, or go the whole hog and go for a Brazilian wax.

You probably already know that eating a balanced diet to maintain healthy skin from the inside will benefit your natural beauty. Oily fish and vegetables will do wonders for your nails, hair and teeth as well as providing fish oils and vitamins for your skin and is a beauty secret worth knowing.

Your hair is your crowning glory especially if you want to feel good naked, have it trimmed regularly and keep it clean, well conditioned and healthy.

A quick fix beauty secret to feel good naked is to decide which your best asset is and show it off to the best advantage. Stand naked in front of a tall mirror and take a good, long look at yourself.

Standing straight on is not always the best pose, experiment by turning slowly and watching how your contours change. Standing side on can be a lot more flattering and compliment your natural beauty. Stand up straight and lift your sternum (breastbone) arch your back slightly so that your bottom sticks out a little bit but not too much.

You can make yourself look slimmer by stretching your body into a bow shape and being careful not to stoop or scrunch yourself up. Or stand slightly side on to the mirror placing one leg in front of the other; this will give you a very sexy shapely outline indeed.

Or try lying on your stomach propped up by your elbows, this accentuates the curve of your back and the shape of your breasts and at the same time minimises your stomach.

The idea behind the above beauty secrets is to create an illusion, flatter your natural beauty and help you to feel good naked.

A good tip is to spend as much time as you can actually being naked, this will get you used to seeing yourself naked and the more you see yourself naked, the more being naked will feel natural to you.

Remember to stand up straight and stretch your body to make yourself look slimmer. It also helps if you master the art of walking by placing one foot in front of the other, as though you are walking a tight rope, and swing your legs from the hips. I've found this looks extremely elegant and it will do wonders for your confidence.

Another good beauty secret is to go for soft lighting, such as candles, tea lights or softly coloured light bulbs if you haven't got a dimmer switch, and make sure the lighting is behind you. This not only has a slimming effect - it will also help to soften your outline and give you a sexy glow.
A soft glow rather than harsh lighting will give your skin an even tone and minimise the appearance of any blemishes.

One of the best beauty secrets I know is taking regular exercise to help keep your body toned and supple, a thirty-minute walk three times a week will pay many benefits. Walk at a speed that gets your heart rate up, this will oxygenate your blood and improve your skin, as well as your muscles and heart. Don't walk so fast that you can't have a conversation at the same time.

A toned and balanced body is extremely beautiful and will make you look and feel good naked, and you don’t need an hourglass figure to achieve this. Add quality to your movements with muscles that are long and toned and you will appear more balanced and beautiful.

Finally, the best way to feel good naked is to have confidence in yourself. If you don't feel it, fake it until you do. Get to know your own body and accept yourself for who you are and how you look.

We are all individuals and there are no set rules for everyone. Watch other women and notice how they move, what looks good and what doesn't. You can learn a lot by watching others.

Someone who is happy in her own skin and behaves in a confident manner is extremely attractive and sexy, regardless of her body shape.

How you feel about yourself is what really counts because this will show in your eyes and natural beauty will radiate from you.

Relax and enjoy yourself - love the way you look - if you do then others will too.

By Ajeet Khurana

Smelling good is essential in today's world. Bad body odor can be a terrible thing to suffer from. If you are out on a hot date on a sweltering day without spraying yourself with a suitable deodorant you can assure yourself that it is bye-bye to that great person forever. A good perfume can score you a lot of points in a romantic setting. If you are going for a job interview you really cannot afford to ignore a possible body odor problem. You do not want to get your interviewers' backs up by hitting them with some bad body odor the moment you come in, do you?

There really is no excuse to not buy perfumes. After all, they are found in a variety of price ranges. Depending on your personal preferences, you can buy cheap perfumes, or you can buy outrageously expensive ones. The point is to find the perfume that adds to your style quotient. Given the wide variety of perfumes available in stores, there has to be a perfume that suits you perfectly.

If you have not found the most appropriate choice of perfume for you, maybe you should experiment a little. Try out a bunch of different fragrances and then decide which one gives you that feeling of immense confidence. The ideal perfume is one that adds to your levels of self-assurance. How To Make The Best Buy Of Perfume

By Roberto Sedycias

The importance of perfume has been realized a very long time ago. Its birth can be dated back to the early Egyptians era when it was being used for religious ceremonies and love making preparations. Nowadays, perfumes have virtually become a bare essential in our society and they are being used in all walks of life. The use of perfumes adds zing to the occasions as they are considered to be one of the most luxurious and sensuous accessories in the modern society.

When it comes to the use of perfume as an essential part of body accessories, they are numerous brands available in the market that one can choose from. However, the choice of a particular brand largely depends on the social stratum of a person. These days, the use of designers` fragrance is a rage in the market and everyone wants to use a specific brand of fragrance which is not only well-known but also stands out in terms of smell.

Some facts about perfumes:

Generally, the fragrance of perfumes last longer for people who have an oily skin. This is because their oily skin has more natural moisture content that holds the fragrance. On the other hand, dry skin has less natural moisture content and, hence it fails to hold the fragrance for a longer period of time.

Admired perfumes for men range from citrus, spicy, woodsy, leathery and while they are designed in a controlled environment, the same for the women are designed for primal senses with the combination of subtleness and refinement. Perfumes for women can be found in different wonderful themes such as floral like roses, jasmine, fruity like citrus or orange blossoms, oriental like mix of spices, amber and so on.

Perfumes are worn by both men and women to display their individual personality. However, what smells wonderful on your friend might not suit your body temperament. Hence, while buying a designer perfume, bear the following dos and don`ts in mind:

How to try:

When you want to try new fragrance for its chemical reaction, try it on your body and not on an object, say on the perfume bottle cap or a piece of cardboard. If you experience any irritation on your skin, take it for granted that the chemical components of the fragrance are not suitable for your skin tone and texture and its use could be harmful for you.

No two-timing, please:

Buyers are often found to be trying different perfume fragrances at the same time. Do not use three or four fragrances at a time as it affects your sensory reflections leading to confusion relating to the choice of a particular fragrance. So, the chances are you will fail to pick that perfect perfume which would be suitable for your skin tone.

Say NO to fake & cheap:

Do not go for fake and cheap designer perfume fragrances merely for the sake of saving a few pennies. What seems like a saving could cost you dearly in the long-run. Fake and cheap fragrances can be extremely detrimental to your skin tone and texture as they are not made up of quality and standard components of fragrance. The best way to choose the perfect perfume is sniff coffee beans to clear and refresh your smelling power.

Samples:

Always try to use sample perfume bottles if it is possible for you to get one. They are extremely ideal for you to understand the ultimate effect on your body. Incase you find them suitable or otherwise, you are in a situation to make a choice accordingly.

Designer perfume outlet:

The best way and place to buy a perfume is to drop at a designer perfume outlet where you can pick your favorite designer perfumes. It helps you to take the right decision as you have a wide-range of choices to pick from. Besides, perfumes purchased from a designer perfume outlet tend to live up to your expectation. They could cost you a bit more, but you can feel the difference as you impress people with the unique smell. This is when you feel that your spending is worth it.

Why Do Celebrities Look Perfect - Amazing Beauty Tips?

By Pushpa Pal Singh

Would women on television ever get old? Seems as if age is just a number for them isn’t it? Do they all go under the knife and get surgeries done just to remain beautiful? Well to be honest with you "NO". Not all of them do that. There are small secrets which can chop off 10 years of your present age. They do not do anything special but they do make an effort to remain beautiful. So what are the secrets which celebs know? Read on to find out-

Your looks reflect your diet- This is very true and applies to almost all people in the world. You are a perfect result of the diet and foods you live on. Of course all of us do munch on the wrong foods some time but some of us are addicted to junk food and than we complain that why do we look the way we do. It's all about what you put into your tummy. If you can not control what you eat than you can never get the desired results. Therefore this is the art every celeb has mastered. They all have controlled the desire to munch on the wrong foods.

The biggest beauty secret "WATER"- Yes you must have heard of it. Two thirds of our planet is water and so is the human body. Most part of our body is water and water is the only liquid which can keep your body clean. The more you drink it the better you would look and feel. Due to the busy life now days people do not drink much water rather they prefer sugar drinks and coffee. Drinking at least 8 glasses of water a day is very important to look and feel beautiful.

All Celebes workout- It is very hard to find one celeb who does not exercise. Almost all of them do workouts in whatever form it might be. Some go to the gym, some do yoga, and some do Pilates others just meditate. Exercise is the only way you can get your blood flowing which makes your skin more radiant and lively.

You hair can make a big difference- Most Celebes have a hairstyles which suits their face most of the times. Most people choose the wrong hairstyles and do not know what would suit them according to the shape of their face. Always choose an appropriate hairstyle which suits the shape of your face as hairstyles have been known to change the overall look drastically.

Therefore to sum it up in a nutshell we all want to look like Celebes but most of us lose our looks as we cross a certain age. The only reason why Celebes retain their look for a longer duration is only because this is their profession. They have to look good as it's a part of their job. Most of us don't have the time to spend on our looks therefore following simple steps mentioned above can take you a long way and cause drastic change to the way you look.

Get Your Own Sauna - Here Is How

By Frank Vanderlugt

People for centuries have talked about the health related benefits that can be derived from having and using a sauna. The benefits from the sauna can revitalize each person that uses it in a different way.

Many people use the sauna’s benefits to help them in their overall health routine. They have saunas built into their home gyms and use them on a regular basis. The sauna helps loosen muscles before their workout and then it helps sooth muscles after exercise routine.

For decades many people also believed that the practice of regularly using a sauna was important to their overall health and happiness. They considered the sauna to be a part of their social culture—inviting friends and relatives to come over and spend time in the sauna.

Years ago, the benefits of the sauna became apparent for other health reasons. It was common for women to give birth in a sauna because it was a very sterile environment. There were even occasions when minor surgical procedures were also performed in the sauna. While this might sound strange to us today, think about the fact that the sauna was hot and moist—this alone helped kill harmful bacteria that could endanger people who needed medical attention.

Today people use the benefits from the sauna in several different ways. Some people use it as a way to help them sweat and to clean out the bodies pores, other use it as a way to help them relax after a long day at work, while some just enjoy the effects of the heat upon their bodies.
The beneficial use of the sauna is now being used more today than every before in the States. Homes are being built with custom designed saunas while other people are involved in renovating a space in their home to have one installed.

If you are thinking about adding special features to your home, you might want to consider adding a sauna in addition to your hot tub. Both have fantastic features and are extremely relaxing for people. To start, you might want to go to a spa or if a hotel you are vacationing at has one, try out a sauna for yourself. Nothing is better than to actually experience a beneficial sauna and to then to make up your own mind.

The benefits you will get from your home sauna will be numerous. You will be able to unwind at the end of a long day. Or, you can just sit in the sauna to help relax your stiff and sore muscles.
Even if you decide not to purchase a sauna for your own home you still can enjoy the luxury of a beneficial sauna for just a few dollars. What better way to relax than in the hot moist air.

Do It Yourself Extensions - The Absolute Truth Revealed About Hair Extensions

By Maria J

So you want to get a hair extension for yourself? Professionally made hair extensions can change your very look and appearance. Professionally done hair extensions are what most celebrities normally use, as they make them look more beautiful and appealing. On the other hand, if you do it the wrong way, you will not only look ugly, it will also cause serious damage to your hair. As with anything in life, there is a right and a wrong way of doing things. In this article I will tell you everything you need to know regarding 'do it yourself extensions'.

First of all, the million dollar question: will it cost you a fortune to get the hair extension done? The answer is both 'yes' and 'no'. It really depends on how you want to get your hair extension done. There are two ways to have a hair extension. You can go to your favorite salon and order a hair extension for yourself. A professional hair extension artist will create the strands for you. Going by this route is best, but it will cost you several hundred dollars. If you are not willing to spend that much amount of money, the second option maybe better for you.

The second option is to buy hair extension packages or 'starter kits'. Usually these types of packages are advertised as 'do it yourself extensions' and is generally a cheaper option to professional hair extension. This option is good for you if you are able to distinguish between good and bad quality hairs. You should always purchase packages of high quality, as the cheaper packages out there will seriously damage the health of your hair.

You also need to know what types of hair you really need. The cost of a hair extension generally depends on the type and quality of hair you choose. If you choose to have Asian hair, then they are usually cheap. If you don't mind being a brunette, or if you are an Asian woman, then this option is best for you. However, if you are Caucasian or European woman, then Asian hairs will look odd on your head. In such cases you should opt for the European hair which is usually expensive. European hair extensions will give you a blond look. European hairs are mostly procured from Spain and Italy.

There is a third type of hair which is called virgin hair. While this type of hair is of the highest quality, they will usually cost you an arm and a leg.

At the end of the day, you get what you pay for. So decide what you really want, because the cost of your hair extension will depend on your choice of hair and how you want it to get done.

Bikini Wax - Frequently Asked Questions

By Oliver Turner

Bikini wax is getting more and more popular and interesting for customers nowadays. It is no wonder that the clients to hair wax shops have gradually increased through the years. But for those who will be experiencing first time bikini wax, it will be best to read first the 10 most frequently asked question with regards to this method:

What is bikini wax?

Bikini wax refers to the method of removing body hair around the pubic or genital area to prevent unwanted hair exposure when wearing thongs, bikinis or lingerie. It involves the usage of special thick hair wax applied to hair area to remove hair; hence, it is called bikini wax.

Are there styles on doing bikini wax?

Definitely, and customers have a lot of options to choose from. There’s the basic bikini wax, the hearts and other shape hair wax and the ever famous Brazilian wax job.

What is the difference of each?

The difference of each bikini waxing style will depend on the way hairs will be removed. Basic bikini waxing will only remove hairs on a specific area like the buttocks and hairs around the pubic area lining while Brazilian bikini wax will generally remove more hairs and will usually leave a very short strip of hair lining.

Can it be done by myself?

Some styles or techniques can be done alone but it is highly discouraged. There are experts or licensed aestheticians totally trained to perform this method. Better be wise and go to a hair waxing clinic instead of risking some injuries for doing it alone.

Will it produce long-lasting results?

It will really depend on the bikini waxing style you’ll be choosing but generally, they really produce long-term outcomes.

What is the best thing to do to feel comfortable about this method?

Don’t be afraid to ask people who have experienced bikini waxing. Or better consult a hair wax expert for some reliable advice.

Home Spa Party Ideas - Manicure Party

By Janice Wee

First, pair everyone up. You'll have to take turns to be the manicurist, so work in pairs.

Then issue a pair of basins to each pair. One basin for the hands the other for the foot.

Offer a selection of essential oils and unscented liquid soap or scented bath soap for your guests to choose from so they can make their own hand and foot baths. To make a foot or hand bath, fill the basin with warm water. Add a few drops of liquid soap and 3 or 4 drops of essential oil or just add in the bath soap.

Remove nail polish with nail polish remover before you soak your hands and feet. Leave the windows and possibly the door open for maximum ventilation when you use the nail polish removers. Trim nails with a nail clipper if necessary.

Each pair decides who goes first. The lucky one sits on a chair in front of a table and soaks her hands in a basin on the table and her feet in the basin at the foot of the chair. Her partner picks the nail colors for the manicure and the pedicure.

After soaking your hands for 10 minutes, scrub under the nails with the nail brush. Rinse and towel dry hands. Then paint on the base coat. Followed by 2 coats of nail polish. Then paint on the nail art. Finish off with a top coat. Let each coat dry completely before applying the next.
Move on to the feet. Rinse and dry the feet. Do the base coat, 2 coats of nail color, the nail art and then the top coat, again letting each coat dry completely before putting on the next layer.
Once the polish is completely dry, return the favor so everyone at the party gets a manicure and a pedicure.

Tip: Read Nail Care and how To do Manicures for ideas before you begin.

Dry Skin Treatments The Natural Way

By Helen Hecker

Dry skin, occurs most commonly on the lower legs, arms, the sides of the abdomen and thighs and is a very common condition. It's easily treatable naturally today when you know how to take care of it both inside and out.

The dermis is the layer of skin just beneath the epidermis that consists of connective tissue and cushions the body from stress and strain. The skin contains hair follicles, sweat glands, sebaceous glands, apocrine glands and blood vessels. The blood vessels in the dermis provide nourishment and waste removal to its own cells and to the epidermis.

If you have a forced-air furnace it may make skin even drier than it already is. Serious skin complications, including a dry skin condition, can occur in people with type 2 diabetes. Dry skin can also be caused by a deficiency of vitamin A, systemic illness, overexposure to sunlight and a lot of medications.

When the oil glands don't supply enough lubrication to the skin, the skin becomes dry and dehydrated. Dry skin can also be due to a genetic condition but it's not common. Some drugs, including diuretics like Lasix, antispasmodics, and antihistamines, can contribute to dry skin conditions; check with your doctor and get a drug insert from your pharmacist.

Consider taking cod liver oil or fish oil supplements, in the liquid form, every day. Good nutrition from living foods - foods that are alive and full of energy - will help nourish your skin from the inside out. Eat at least two organic apples every day especially while working to clear up your skin; apples are good for your skin health. Eat organic so you can eat the pesticide-free skin (most of the apple pectin is in the skin), which helps with constipation too.

Only use very mild cleansers or mild soaps if you must use a soap or cleanser. Natural treatments should always be the first type of treatment to consider when you want to heal your skin and take the best care of it. For any skin condition, it is always better to take a natural approach first

I buy virgin coconut oil by the gallon; it's cheaper for a whole gallon of coconut oil than a small jar of department store, name-brand moisturizer. After a soothing bath or shower at night just before bedtime, apply a very thin layer of coconut oil over your entire body. It will even last on your skin through your shower in the morning. And use coconut oil to remove your make-up at night, like I do; it leaves a fine layer of oil to nourish your skin all night long; but better yet, apply even more coconut oil.

If you have acne, eczema or any type of skin condition coconut oil will treat and quickly heal these too. When you buy coconut oil, make sure you get the kind that hasn't been bleached, refined, processed and deodorized.

Many skin conditions can be converted into clear, healthy skin by using natural home remedies. Skin that is not clean encourages the development of pathogenic organisms; the dead cells continually slough off of the epidermis and mix with the secretions of the sweat and sebaceous glands and the dust found on the skin, to form a layer on the surface.

Usually most of us take care of dry skin without seeing our doctor, but sometimes we can't avoid it. Following some of the above natural treatments, your dry skin should be well on its way to recovery and clearing up. If you're still worried about your dry or damaged skin, or the problems persist too long, see your skin doctor.

Neroli Oil - What It Is And Why To Use It

By Tawne Bachus

Origin/History:

Neroli oil took its name from Anna Maria de La Tremoille, who was once the Duchess of Bracciano and the Princess of Nerola. She is given credit for introducing this essential oil to Italy’s most affluent members of society, in the 17th century. During that period of time, Neroli oil was often used in bath water or as a perfume on stationary and clothing. Its rich, floral scent gained almost instant popularity and was used commercially by J.M. Farina, the famous Italian perfume manufacturer. In 1709, he began selling an essential oil blend of Bergamot, Lavender, Lemon, Petitgrain, Rosemary and Neroli. He called this magical blend “Eau de Cologne”, which is still quite well known throughout today’s modern world.

Before making its way to Italy, Neroli oil completed a journey spanning several centuries. It is believed that Neroli oil originated in South-East Asia, before traveling to India, Burma and China. Neroli oil was considered a valuable trading item. Because of this, it continued to spread to other regions of the world including Africa, Arabia and Syria. Then, thanks to the Moors, it made its way further north and further west. Neroli oil was eventually carried into the Mediterranean region. And, by the end of the 12th century bitter orange trees were being cultivated in Seville, Spain for the production of this highly sought essential oil.

Like rose oil, this oil’s valid expense is driven by the enormous amount of blossoms necessary to produce Neroli essential oil. In fact, 1 ton of orange blossoms are required to produce one quart of Neroli oil. Neroli oil is the extracted essential oil of fragrant blossoms from the bitter orange tree (Citrus aurantium sub.sp amara). However, before the orange blossoms may be used in the distillation process to produce essential oil, all traces of debris, including green leaves and twigs, must be removed by hand.

Features/Benefits:

Neroli oil is a middle (heart) note. Middle notes are essential oils that possess flowery or spicy scents and may promote emotional balance. Neroli oil is well known for its mentally and physically relaxing properties. Mentally, Neroli oil may be used to calm panic, shock, depression, mental exhaustion or anxiety and may also assist with insomnia. These benefits may be achieved by deeply inhaling the fragrance or by rubbing a drop or two directly onto the solar plexus. Physically, Neroli oil may assist with menstrual cramps by adding it to a bath or by diluting it to 10% in pure apricot oil, which can then be gently massaged into the abdomen. It is also believed that Neroli oil contains anti-bacterial and anti-parasitic properties, which may make it possible to support intestinal disorders. As well, Neroli oil possesses anti-spasmodic properties that may settle a racing heart and heart palpitations.

Above and beyond the physical benefits just mentioned, Neroli oil might be most respected for its ability to assist the body with healthy skin. For best results Neroli oil should be blended with a hypoallergenic carrier lotion or base cream rather than a carrier oil. When applied regularly to the skin, Neroli oil has been noted to improve varicose veins, skin elasticity and the body’s ability to develop new skin cells, while working to soften the skin, wrinkles and scars. Neroli oil may also be able to regulate oiliness, minimize enlarged pores and clear blemishes.

Finally, Neroli oil has a uniquely strong scent that appeals to both men and women, which allows Neroli oil to claim the benefits of an aphrodisiac, providing a combination of physical and mental benefits.

Neroli oil blends well with: Cedarwood oil, Cinnamon oil, Clary Sage oil, Clove oil, Geranium oil, Jasmine oil, Lavender oil, Lemon oil, Myrrh oil, Rose oil, and Sandalwood oil.

The Perfect Eyebrow for Your Makeup

By Juliet Cohen

Eyebrows are tricky creatures. Eyebrow is one of the most important parts to beauty. Eyebrow is an area of coarse skin hairs above the eye that follows the shape of the brow ridges. Eyebrows also have an important facilitative function in communication, strengthening expressions like surprise or anger. Eyebrows also prevent debris such as dandruff and other small objects from falling into the eyes, as well as providing a more sensitive sense for detecting objects being near the eye, like small insects. The main function of the eyebrows is to prevent moisture, mostly salty sweat and rain, from flowing into the eye, an organ critical to sight. The typical curved shape of the eyebrow (with a slant on the side) and the direction in which eyebrow hairs are pointed, make sure that moisture has a tendency to flow sideways around the eyes, along the side of the head and along the nose. The slightly protruding brow ridges of modern humans could also still play a supporting role in this process. Together with the eyebrows, the brow ridges also shade the eyes from sunlight. It is common for people to pluck their eyebrows to maintain a clean and fashionable appearance with the use of tweezers and waxing. Both of these methods can be painful due to the sensitivity of the area around the eye but often this pain decreases over time as the individual becomes used to the sensation.

Some people claim that after they've been plucking/waxing their eyebrows for a few months, they become totally immune to the pain. Eyebrow threading is an ancient method of hair removal that is still used in parts of the Middle and Far East. Thin, twisted cotton threads are rolled over untidy hairlines, mustaches and so on, plucking the offending hair. Due to growing popularity in Western countries, threading is now found being performed in beauty salons. Like other methods of hair removal such as plucking or waxing, threading can result in skin irritation and ingrown hairs. Trichotillomania (TTM), or "trich" as it is commonly known, is an impulse control disorder characterized by the repeated urge to pull out scalp hair, eyelashes, beard hair, nose hair, pubic hair, eyebrows or other body hair. Trichotillomania is classified in the DSM-IV as an impulse control disorder that is not elsewhere classified under another axis or disorder. It is classified in this manner to control diagnoses of TTM. It is an Axis I disorder. Unibrow or monobrow presence of abundant hair between the eyebrows, so that they seem to converge to form one long eyebrow.

Steps of Perfect Eyebrow Shape

1.The perfect eyebrow starts above the inside corner of your eye (over the tear duct), and ends at the outside corner, above your eyelashes.

2.Trim your eyebrows. This will make a big difference in helping you look younger. Once eyebrows reach a certain length they start losing pigments at the ends.

3.Take an eyeliner pencil and place it vertically against your nose. It should run from the side of the nose, mid-mouth, and by the tear duct of the eye. This is wear your eyebrow should start; any hair that is visible beyond the pencil should be tweezed.

4.Next place the pencil diagonally where it should hit the middle of the mouth, nostril, and outside the iris of the eye. This is wear your arch is.

5.Tweeze a gradually line from the arch to the start of the eyebrow.

6.Determine the end of the eyebrow, place the pencil diagonally across to his the opposite corners of the mouth, nostril, and outside corner of the eye. Any hair that goes past should be tweezed.

7.Place your pencil horizontal from the start of the eyebrow to the end of the eyebrow. The pencil should create a perfect straight line.

8.The biggest mistake people make is to tweeze too much. Avoid overplucking as it can take months for brows to grow back. Here's a simple trick to remember:

9.Brow shade should be about two shades lighter than hair color for olive or dark skinned women and two shades darker than hair color blondes or women with grey hair.

Removing Age Spots Safely And Cheaply At Home

By Alicia Green

If you have developed a brown spot on your skin, there’s no need to panic, and you don’t have to spend your life savings on cosmetic procedures to get rid of it. Removing age spots is something you can do yourself, at home, for pennies on the dollar compared to costly, risky and time-consuming treatments such as the photofacial.

Photofacials to get rid of age spots don’t work overnight. Generally you will need at least five treatments, three weeks apart. Each treatment with a quality photofacial can cost you $500. So for $2500 and about 4 months, you might have some success in removing your age spots – but then again, they will probably start to come back in a year or two, and you’ll have to go through the whole expensive and time-consuming process again.

Not only that, but cosmetic procedures can be risky. Some people have experienced adverse side effects and further damage to their skin when turning to laser treatments to get rid of age spots.

With the right knowledge, you can treat your age spots at least as effectively and much more safely at home, getting everything you need for as little as $250 (about the cost of a month’s supply of the most expensive fancy lightening creams). Your time investment will likely be the same as it would if you had undergone a series of photofacials - age spots don’t disappear overnight. But with an effective home treatment, they will fade, and continue to fade over a period of time until they are completely gone.

Then, instead of returning to the dermatologist or spa every year or two, you will be able to continue using your preventative measures to fight against your age spots coming back. And if they do start to make another dreaded appearance, you will have just the right cost-effective secrets to nip them completely in the bud once more.

Removing age spots is not as complicated as people may think. It’s just that there’s a lot of misinformation, and a lot of people in the beauty industry who just want to take your money. Dermatologists and spa technicians simply don’t know there are effective alternatives to their pricey and risky treatments.

There are so many ridiculously pricey fading creams out there that may be as effective as some of the more inexpensive alternatives, and neither of them will tell you there are more steps you need to take other than simply applying the creams.

Removing age spots is simple, yet it’s a multi-step process. The best way to get rid of age spots is to exfoliate, apply a natural home remedy to your skin with ingredients from the grocery store, follow this with an all-natural, powerful fading cream, all the while taking certain internal supplements.

There are little-known solutions that work very effectively to get rid of age spots, and there are many hyped up products that don’t work - some of which can even be harmful to your health.

Knowledge is essential when it comes to removing your age spots. You don’t want to waste your money, or be damaged by mistakes you can make without the right information.

Discover the secrets to removing your age spots at home. For free information on effective treatments and natural home remedies, visit http://skinbrightening.googlepages.com/home

Beauty Fitness

By David England

Beauty fitness is determined by how healthy you are. It may be satisfactory for a while but to retain beauty, there are several factors that should be considered. A solution to that is natural cosmetics, to ensure healthy beauty fitness. The need of maintaining physical fitness and mental balance originates from our artificial life style. Yoga as a beauty fitness routine can fit into anyone's lifestyle. Beauty does really start from within and has much to do with your beauty fitness food nutrition. Apart from the expense involved in buying beauty fitness food products, whether they are for their anti aging nutrition or vitamin content, think also on the extras you're paying for such as additives, preservatives, colour-enhancers, that you could well do without. Starting a nutrient-rich, health and beauty fitness food diet, calls for just a few basic yet healthy changes in the way you currently eat. Health and beauty fitness really does start from within.

Beauty If our skin looks good, we feel good, so it's little wonder that way we spend so much time, effort and money on beauty regimes. The marvellous thing about beauty is that no matter how you look naturally, you can improve yourself. Don't neglect your beauty and fitness because you feel you can't afford it. Avoid the other end of the spectrum too, spending too much attempting to keep up with beauty maintenance and paying for expensive gym memberships. Going to the salon or spa for your beauty treatments can become expensive and time consuming. Which means your beauty and fitness regime is done at your convenience, and within a reasonable budget.

Fitness In the quest for a beautiful figure and overall fitness, Yoga is one of the most sought after technique that brings about increased fitness and flexibility levels. This holistic approach to fitness also addresses the spiritual and mental well being of a person. The principles of fitness with yoga are controlled breathing, postures and meditation. Beauty fitness with yoga is a reality since regular practice of yoga helps a woman remain agile and slim. If you have a better body fitness than it will also improve your sexual fitness and if you are better in sex than it will also improve body fitness. As you improve your body fitness and decrease the fat from your body parts than you will not feel any type of pain and not get tired so easily.

There is a widely available and plentiful supply of every-day beauty fitness food at your fingertips. Health and beauty fitness really does start from within.

Natural Dry Skin Care Treatments That Work Now

By Helen Hecker

Skin becomes dry because it lacks moisture, not oil. Only a lucky few of us have 'normal' skin; the rest of us have dry, oily or combination skin; if dryness is your skin problem, there may be some help here.

The average square inch of skin holds 650 sweat glands, 20 blood vessels, 60,000 melanocytes, and more than a thousand or so nerve endings. The epidermis has no blood vessels, and cells in the deepest layers are nourished by diffusion from blood capillaries extending to the uppermost layers of the dermis. Our skin also receives less blood flow and lower gland activity than the any other organ in our body.

The symptoms most associated with dry skin are: scaling, which is the visible peeling of the outer layer of skin, itching, and cracks in the skin. Environmental factors, such as exposure to sun, wind, cold, chemicals, or cosmetics, or excessive bathing with harsh soaps, can cause dry skin. Serious skin complications, including a dry skin condition, can occur in people with type 2 diabetes.

Certain drugs, including diuretics, antispasmodics, and antihistamines, can contribute to dry skin conditions; check with your pharmacist or doctor and read the drug insert - ask your pharmacist for one. Dry skin happens more often in the winter when the cold air outside and warm air inside cause the humidity to be low. And skin gets exposed to the elements, especially in winter, causing it to become drier.

Concentrating on a diet of living fruits and vegetables, and no junk food, should give you an observable improvement in your skin within 30 days. Good clear skin is usually a reflection of having a well-operating non-constipated digestive system. Drink freshly extracted carrot juice, if possible, every day; carrot juice is an excellent cleanser for the liver, great for the skin and contains a great deal of nutrients, all beneficial for dry skin, eczema, acne, zits, pimples, blackheads, whiteheads, and other types of breakouts.

Drink plenty of pure, filtered, unchlorinated water or spring water every day; at least a quart or more. Dry and pat your skin gently and thoroughly after a bath or shower if it's extremely dry or red and irritated. Only use mild cleansers or soaps if you must use a soap or cleanser.

To see what virgin coconut oil can do for your skin fast, apply coconut oil several times a day and at bedtime. Coconut oil is the best healing, soothing, and moisturizing treatment I've found for dry skin; in fact all types of skin conditions, skin eruptions, pimples, acne, eczema, milia, irritations, cuts, burns, fungus, etc. Coconut oil is very inexpensive - a great, cheap home remedy for all types of skin conditions.

You can use various bath oils and moisturizers every day, but coconut oil has the added power of healing. Apply coconut oil to irritated or chapped lips as well; it's edible, so it's safe and so healing to the lips.

Functions of the skin are disturbed when it isn't clean; it becomes more easily damaged, the release of antibacterial compounds decreases and it's more prone to develop infections. The delicate skin supports its own ecosystem of microorganisms, including yeasts and bacteria, which cannot be removed by any amount of cleaning.

If your dry skin condition lasts for a long time and is itchy or feels hot when you touch it, see your doctor. And see your doctor or naturopath when your skin feels itchy all over your body, with or without a visible rash. Usually we can take care of our dry skin without seeing our doctor, but sometimes we can't avoid it.

For more information on coconut oil treatment for dry skin and dry skin care treatments go to http://www.Best-Skin-Care-Tips.com Helen Hecker R.N.'s website specializing in care for skin conditions with tips, advice and resources for women, men, teens and babies, including information on the best natural products

How Does Drinking Water Keeps Your Skin Healthy?

By Terrence Mills

Water is nature's gift. Just by drinking water, you would be contributing to your physical beauty. Have you ever seen the appearance of a person who is dehydrated? There is no cheer in the person's face. The person appears to be weak and sick. The skin is pale in color and shriveled in state. How does this happen?

The person has not consumed enough water. What is seen on the outer plane is result of what happens inside the body. If the digestion is proper, there would be no trace of unwanted matter in the body. Hence, water present would be enough to remove the harmful waste. Why are people conscious of their weight and would want to go in for weight loss, spending time and money at the cost of convenience? It is because they ate stuff rich in calories and fats when all that was needed was a glass full of water. They mistook their thirst for their hunger.

If you are overweight, do not panic. All that you need to do is begin drinking water. You could reduce the food intake. Through exercise, physical activity and drinking water, you would be burning much of the calories that are present in your body. Water suppresses the person's appetite in a natural way. Drinking water helps to restore your shape in a gradual way.

You can have good, healthy and glowing skin by drinking water. The body functions on the principle of rejecting unwanted matter and retaining only those that are needed. It is natural for "water loss" to take place in many ways. Perspiration is the basic way. When you breathe or do a physical activity, water comes out from the lungs in the form of moistened air.

When you perspire, water out from the pores of your hand, arms, face and soles of feet. To compensate this loss of water you need to consume water. Impurities, toxins, waste inside the body all have effect on the skin. The skin would be oily, perspiring and full of pimples, blackheads, acne that would spoil the appearance of the persons. Some times during winter heated air indoors can result in skin losing moisture. It could be dry. By drinking water, you remove these shortcomings. Gradually, the harmful constituents are flushed out and the skin starts glowing and becoming healthy. There is no need to visit a skin specialist. The therapy is natural and effective.

Water is thus a medicine. You do not have to visit the doctor and follow the prescription for drinking water. Just by drinking water, you are fulfilling the natural urge. At the same time, you are taking care of your body shape and its appearance. By drinking water, you would be ensuring that you skin glows while your body grows to a fine shape. It removes the harmful substance that prevents you from enjoying the shape and skin of your body.

The people most affected by poor skin are those with acne. It can be a nightmare trying to get rid of persistent acne, and that's why I made this healthy skin web site. That link will take you to the site. Please leave any comments or questions on the guest book.

Nails Reveal Your Character

By Janet Martin

It may take weeks, months or even years before you can truly know someone but our ancestors had a shorter way of judging people: they simply looked at their fingernails.

If you want to discern a person’s character, then the best place to start is by looking at his or her fingernails, according to Barkham Burroughs who wrote this “useful” guide in 1889. Some of his wacky insights include: White marks indicate misfortune so better avoid that person. Pale or lead-colored nails are found in melancholy people while broad nails mean that person is shy, timid, and gentle.

People who quest for knowledge are said to have round nails. A quarrelsome and ambitious nature is supposedly evident in those with narrow nails. Burroughs said conceited people have small nails while those who delight in war have red and spotted nails. If you have ingrown nails, consider yourself lucky for you enjoy the fine things in life and have good taste!

The day in which you cut your nails was also believed to have an effect on your future. In “A Dictionary of Superstitions” edited by Iona Opi and Moira Tatem, we get the following advice: Cut them on Monday, you cut them for health; cut them on Tuesday, you cut them for wealth; cut them on Wednesday, you cut them for news; cut them on Thursday, a new pair of shoes; cut them on Friday, you cut them for sorrow; cut them on Saturday, see your true love tomorrow; cut them on Sunday, the devil will be with you all the week.”

Today, we know that nails reflect our state of health and they mirror certain diseases. Deep horizontal grooves often indicate a serious illness while discoloration, thinning, thickening, brittleness, small white spots, and flatness can result from nutrient deficiencies, a drug reaction or poisoning or local injury.

“Doctors often look at nails to see how healthy a person is. Pink nails show that the person has enough iron in their blood and that the blood is circulating well around the body,” according to the Child and Youth Health web site of the Children, Youth and Women's Health Service in South Australia.

When fungi invade the nails, the resulting infection is called onychomycosis or ringworm of the nails. This occurs in two to 18 percent of the population worldwide and is common in people over 60. Onychomycosis is often caused by fungi called dermatophytes which are responsible for 90 percent of cases. This leads to thickened, discolored, streaked or spotted nails.

“A fungal nail infection can make wearing narrow or tight shoes, walking, or standing for long periods of time uncomfortable and in some cases painful. Over time, a fungal nail infection can cause permanent nail damage. As it invades more of a nail, it becomes more difficult to cure. An untreated nail infection can also spread to other nails and skin,” said the editors of WebMD.

Antifungal pills may be prescribed for severe cases but they can be expensive and cause serious side effects. What’s more, not all of them work. Some of the newer oral antifungals are safer and more effective but still take time to work. A better alternative is Somasin AFS, the safe and natural way to get rid of stubborn nail infections.

Somasin will restore the natural shine, luster, and look of healthy nails in no time at all and will promote the regrowth of nail tissue in just 7 days. For more information, check out http://www.somasin.com

How to Do the Smoky Eye Makeup Look -- the Right Way!

By Angela Harris

One of the sexiest makeup looks is the smoky eye. However, if done incorrectly, this look can be disasterous. There is nothing more unappealing than a smoky eye look done wrong. A woman can end up looking like a clown, raccoon or zombie. Not good looks. When done right, however, a woman can end up looking like a sensual, beautiful goddess. You have to start off with the right basics. The first thing you'll need is a good foundation. You want your skin tone to be even and your skin to look its best. Go for a coverage that's not too matte, not too dewy.

Rather than using foundation and powder as a base on your eyes, try a shadow base especially designed for this purpose. After your base has been applied, go for a light blush on the cheeks. Sheer rose or a pinky-peach color is nice. A light flush is preferable to dark blush. Now, it's time to move to the eyes. Apply a sheer wash of a medium toned neutral all over the lid ending at the browbone. Then, use black gel or liquid eyeliner and trace around the entire eye, as close to the lash lid as you can get. After the eyeliner is completely dry, cover with one coat of black eye pencil, then smudge gently.

The next step is to apply a charcoal colored powder shadow on the lid. The color should be most intense on the lid and crease, then blended gently to the browbone. Add a touch of white or cream colored shadow on the browbone to accent the eye and provide a highlight. Then, use the dark charcoal shade again with a slanted brush to apply it on top of your eyeliner under the eye.

Dust a translucent powder over your eye makeup to set it. Then, curl your lashes with a good eyelash curler (I like Shu Uemura's eyelash curler) and apply two coats of black lengthening mascara. Of course, you can also use false lashes if you like for an even more dramatic look.

The smoky eye should be balanced with nude lips. Or, go for a color that is as close to your natural lip color as possible. A light gloss is OK but anything too shiny (or too matte) will take attention from your eyes. A word of wisdom -- don't ever try dark eyes and dark lips which gives an overmade appearance.

How Do Wrinkle Creams Compare With Other Skin Beauty Products?

By Marcus Ryan

If you want to look 10-20 years younger, then you have a few options!

Yes, there are a few things you can do, and a few products you can use to reverse wrinkles and to look way younger than your age.

In this article, we're going to go through the 4 main options for rejuvenating your appearance and looking stunning.

Let's go through them now.

The first options is wrinkle creams that work. The clue here is that you have to use the wrinkle cream products that actually give results, and the breakthrough ones now do so in less than 10 minutes, and other ones in about 10-20 days.

See, in the past there were many wrinkle creams made to work in perhaps 3-6 months, if at all.

And these products were really not that effective.

But now, thanks to a few breakthroughs in skin care as well as the rediscovery of many natural botanical oils that provide a lifting effect as well as reversal of wrinkles, you can now have gorgeous skin in minutes.

The next option is chemical peels.

With chemical peels, it is a more invasive procedure, and can involve the use of AHA, BHA, TCA peels, and in the past phenol peels.

These treatments take off the surface layer of the skin exposing the newer skin underneath and encouraging skin growth. There can be side effects in the short term including redness, peeling, and swelling, and in the long term even hyper or hypo pigmentation, though this is mainly with the phenol peels.

It's something that some women do once in a while in their beauty regime.

Then next option is Botox injections.

With Botox, the effect lasts 2-3 months and involves the injection of a Botulinum toxin into specific muscles of the face to reduce their ability to contract and therefore furrow the skin.

Sometimes the effects can be a bit surprising, with a loss of expression which may be noticed if you are expected to perform a certain expression!

It is performed without local anaesthetic usually but can sting. Side effects afterwards include local disturbances such as pain, swelling, redness, and also general reactions such as nausea and headaches.

Always use the FDA approved and legitimate forms of Botox, as there have been serious cases of life threatening side effects with non FDA approved sources of Botox as documented by Dr Kaplan recently.

The cost of Botox and chemical peels can be quite high as well.

Fourthly, there is cosmetic or plastic surgery, known as the face lift.

This is the most invasive and costly option. There are various types of face lifts, depending on which section of the face needs work, the age of the patient and other factors.

The procedure involves risk of anaesthesia, and risks of surgery.

For most people, this is a treatment of last resort due to the invasiveness and risk.

So there you have it, these are some of the options for skin beauty.

Remember that a healthy diet and exercise regime helps any routine as this helps your cells to be healthier and your skin to look younger.

So learn about these options and go for gorgeous skin!

So which wrinkle creams work to reverse wrinkles in minutes? Find out in Marcus Ryan review site about the best wrinkle creams and anti aging cream products that gives results. Also find out how to get free trial wrinkle cream samples to prove the results for yourself! So go for it and get gorgeous skin!

Are You Always On The Run? Mineral Makeup Is The Answer!

By Cherie Litchfield

If you are like millions of women around the country it seems as though we are constantly on the run. Between work, errands, shopping, school activities, family events, doctor’s appointments... there really is never enough time to get it all done. Usually taking care of yourself, especially how you look, is one of the last things on the list and often doesn’t get done at all. Well, it doesn’t have to be that way. There is a fast and easy solution to having natural and beautiful looking skin. It’s called Mineral Makeup.

Mineral Makeup is fast emerging as a favorite among American women as we become more aware of what we are putting on our skin and how that effects how we look. Not all Mineral Makeups are alike but Pure Mineral Makeup is non-comedogenic and hypoallergenic with no artificial chemicals, additives or animal by-products, waxes or fillers. It is actually calming and healing to the skin and is the only makeup recommended by Plastic Surgeons and Dermatologists following surgical skin and facial treatments.

Not only is Pure Mineral Makeup actually good for your skin it provides excellent coverage while feeling lightweight-like you’re not wearing any makeup at all. It gives you natural, healthier and younger looking skin.

For the woman on the go, the benefits of Mineral Makeup are many. The newest Mineral Makeups come in a Pressed formula so there is No Mess. And no time wasted cleaning loose minerals off of your countertops or floor or changing your shirt (again).

Pressed Mineral Makeup is also very easy to apply: a few quick brush strokes in any direction and you’re done.

Some Mineral Makeups come in convenient compacts so you can just throw them in your purse and go. But Mineral Makeup is very water resistant and, even through a strenuous workout, doesn’t rub off. So there is usually no need to reapply your makeup at all throughout the day saving you precious time.

Mineral Makeup also has a natural SPF 15. So, unless you choose to, there is no need to add an additional sunblock to your makeup routine – saving you time and money.

A Pure Mineral Makeup is also extremely versatile. The colors can be worn on the cheeks, lips or eyes so coordinating your makeup is a snap. And there is no need to spend money on several makeup products. Because Mineral Makeup blends with your skin’s own facial oils, it doesn’t have to match exactly like regular makeup so you don’t have to worry about demarcation lines or buying a new makeup every time your tan deepens or lightens a shade.

With all the wonderful benefits of Pure Natural Mineral Makeup in time and money savings, it really is the perfect solution for the Woman On The Run!

www.LoveMineralMakeup.com offers only the Purest and Most Natural Mineral Makeup: Naked Minerals™ Makeup. Naked Minerals™ comes in 2 Fantastic Collections as well as a full line of individual Mineral Makeup products. Time-Tested Tips For Shopping For Discount Contact Lenses

By Helen Hecker

With a prescription for contact lenses in hand, it is possible to buy your contact lenses from stores, the Internet, over the phone, or by mail. There are 75 million contact lens wearers worldwide and 31 million live in the U.S. alone. The choice of which of the contact lenses is right for you should be based only on an examination by your doctor or eye care professional, not over the phone.

In the U.S. contact lenses marketplace, 82 percent wear soft lenses, 16 percent wear rigid gas-permeable and only 2 percent wear hard. Contact lens wearers are usually surprised and happy with the level of comfort the lenses provide.

Bifocal correction is possible with either soft or rigid lenses. Soft contact lenses are made of very soft, flexible plastics that allow for oxygen to pass through to the cornea. If you plan to wear lenses for more than 18 hours for the purpose of an eye color change, then buy colored soft lenses.

People who have good distance vision but will need help for reading can get a monovision reading lens for one eye. Soft lenses have the added benefit in that soft lenses are not as likely as rigid lenses to pop out or get foreign material like dust underneath them. Soft lenses also come as disposable products -- used once and discarded, or as planned-replacement lenses.

Rigid gas permeable lenses tend to be less expensive over the life of the lenses since they last longer than soft lenses. It is important for your eyes to have a rest, without lenses, for at least one night following each scheduled removal. Rigid lenses do not absorb chemicals, unlike soft lenses which will soak up residue from your hands such as soap or lotion.

In some of the models, each lens corrects for near and distance vision and in others, one lens is for near vision, and the other is for distance. There are also some rigid gas permeable lenses that are designed and approved for overnight wear.

Carefully check to make sure the company gives you the brand you ordered, the name of the lens, the power, sphere, cylinder, if any, axis, if any, diameter base curve, and peripheral curves, if any. Always buy from a reputable company. You can buy contact lenses without a prescription, but the company is selling you a prescription device as if it were an over-the-counter device violating FTC regulations by selling you contact lenses without having your prescription in hand. You can buy contact lenses from an eye doctor, or on the Internet, or from an optical store or a warehouse club.

Rebates might be available from the seller, from the manufacturer, for first-time contact lens wearers and for individuals who buy lenses and get an eye exam. Focus on the value, not just the price; most people looking for the best price are really just looking for the best value. Wherever you buy, shop for quality and value and what's best for your eye health.

Before you buy online, check to see if there are any testimonials on the online supplier's website. When you place your order make sure your lenses are available and not out of stock, because you'll need them right away. Be aware of attempts to substitute a brand different from the one you want.

Microorganisms may be present in distilled water, so always use commercial sterile saline solutions if you plan to use enzyme tablets in water for any disinfections. Getting a proper fit is essential. Contact lenses that are poorly fitted can lead to eyesores, eye inflammation, and eye abrasions. Don't wear lenses any longer than prescribed for, nor when sleeping unless you are otherwise directed.

Replace your contacts as recommended by your eye doctor because they will wear out as time goes by. One sight-threatening concern is the infection Acanthamoeba keratitis, which is caused by improper care of the lens; this difficult-to-treat parasitic infection's symptoms are very similar to those of corneal ulcers. The FDA has approved extended-wear lenses for use up to seven days before they are removed for cleaning; but there are risks with use of extended-wear lenses - even for one night.

If you are looking for cheap contact lenses, you may find that cheap materials or other ways of cutting costs will affect the quality you want for your precious eyes. No matter which lenses your doctor prescribes, be sure to ask for written instructions and follow them very carefully. Remember to use only contact lenses that are FDA-approved and only if prescribed by a licensed eye doctor.
