Sexy Summer Make-up Tricks - Get Ready to Glow!

Let's face it, there is nothing sexier than a warm summer night. It's time to throw on that little black dress and sandals, and look effortlessly chic. In the summer, less is more, and that goes for make-up too. Heavy make-up is like an anorak, who needs it in June?!

To simplify your beauty routine, consider products that can do double duty. Bronzers are an excellent choice for creating warmth to the complexion, and often you can use them in place of a blush. The way to do this is by changing the way you apply it. Instead of applying to the apples of the cheeks as many of us do with our blush, apply to along the cheekbone, staying slightly underneath. This creates a contour effect ~ think slimming!

For evening glow that is gorgeous by candlelight, illuminator is your best friend! The easiest to use illuminators are mineral based, as they contain micro-micas instead of glitter. Apply this to the tops of the cheekbones, collarbones and decollete.

Become a bronze goddess! Look for molten metal eyeshadow and liners in bronze, gold and silver shades. These harmonize beautifully with summer skin and are a snap to apply.

Switch from heavy lipstick to a gloss. Clear gloss enhances the natural lip colour and makes lips look fuller and hydrated. Sometimes there is nothing sexier than what we come by honestly, so go natural!

If you only have time for one product, let it be black mascara. This is a beaded hemline on a dress, a sexy black ankle strap! There is nothing that will get your eyes to stand out more than two coats of mascara. Look for formulas that lengthen and volumize to maximize the fringe factor.
